WWE has purchased an ad in tommorrow's New York Times promoting Christmas In Iraq. If you wish to see it, Click here Lance Storm has updated the Q & A section of his site. Storm said that the only things that would likely bring him back to the ring would be a Wrestlemania match or an ECW Reunion show. He also said that his feuds with Tommy Dreamer and Chris Candido were likely his greatest feuds, and finally, he said the coolest things he hears from fans is, "I miss watching you wrestle." You can check out the rest of the Q & A by click here Mick Foley and Sabu will both be at the January 21, 2005 Border City Wrestling show which is a memorial show for Douglas Chevalier in Ontario. Dark Age 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2004 Storm's other commentary was better, in which he booked himself to be the next big star of Raw. It was basically him taking Shawn's place in the SS elimination match last year. It would have done a MUCH better job long term than having Shawn in the match did. I hate to break it to some of you folks, but Lance Storm as a main eventer wouldn't sell out a flea market. At best he is I.C./U.S. title level. Storm over HBK? That just cracks me up. Dark Age 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2004 That must be a joke. Nope, it isn't a joke. Your statement is incorrect. I hate to break it to some of you folks, but Lance Storm as a main eventer wouldn't sell out a flea market. Who's claiming it would? No one, not even Storm himself, is claiming he in HBK's place would make a damn bit of difference to the buyrates, ratings, etc. What he is saying is..... Storm over HBK? That just cracks me up. .... that it would have meant A LOT more to use him than Shawn. Be honest with me, what did Shawn gain from that match? "Oh my God, Shawn Michaels, he's so heroic, look at him fight on. WOW what a trooper". Er, yeah, but it's been hammered over our heads for YEARS that Shawn Michaels is an underdog, always fighting adversity, yada yada yada. What did he REALLY gain from that match? Any more heat than he already had? No. Did it make him a star? Nope. Did it make any money? Nope. NOW.... use Storm in the same position. Would it have affected the buyrate for SurSer? No. No less, no worse. Would it have made Storm a future draw? Who knows. HOWEVER, it would have made Storm look like a million bucks, give him a huge rub, get him over big time and give him a permanent stay in the upper mid card. Don't even try and TELL me that Shawn was a better option than Lance. Besides, Storm was actually a part of the feud. Shawn was just added at the last minute for no reason at all. RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2004 Man, the WWE is so selfless sometimes. Going to Iraq. Not trying to get a single thing from it. Merry Christmas everyone.
Nevermortal 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2004 Don't even try and TELL me that Shawn was a better option than Lance. Shawn was a better option than Lance because Lance Storm is the drizzling fucking shits.
Dark Age 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2004 I meant in regards to 'making a star'. Regardless of if Lance is any good or not, the fact is, he in place of Shawn would have given him a lot of credibility, something Shawn already has.

RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2004 Booker: Man, I'm glad OUR feud didn't last too long Taker, cause when I heard that you bury guys, I didn't know you LITERALLY buried them. Torrie: Why does that tombstone say "Heidenreich".

Shawn was a better option than Lance because Lance Storm is the drizzling fucking shits. I wholeheartedly disagree. Lance was fucking great in ECW, the last good thing about WCW, and tore the house down in WWF when he was given the chance, especially against Edge.

Regardless of if Lance is any good or not, the fact is, he in place of Shawn would have given him a lot of credibility, something Shawn already has. WEll duh...you can say that for ANYONE who hasn't been in a top level spot. If they're in a main even match..it's gonna make them look better. Oh...and WWE DID do something like that. See JBL. They did the same thing with Orton. They did it with..umm, I don't know, would Jeff Hardy work? Even though his was just one title shot.. It's just so happens that it wasn't Lance Storm. And well, from what people say about the stars I mentioned, there's no sure way you can say that he would gain more credibility getting that shot...as it's been proven that even more, people hate that person when they get that spot.
