I liked his band the most out of the three remaining and it seemed to me the Ozzfest crowd liked them the best due to the pit starting and overall people reacting to them unlike during the other two bands where the people stood around for most of their songs. Their band was MANTIS and also was the heaviest of the three, I hope that didn't have anything to do with it.

Concerning tonight's show, I really wanted one of the remaining bands to try and do something to distinguish themselves from the others. That opportunity was golden for each band and judging by the footage, I didn't see too much of a difference in crowd reaction. And Ahmad FUCK-ING rules. His cuss-out tantrum on Big Dave was reality TV gold!

Seriously, though- I watched the first couple episodes and enjoyed it, but I haven't watched in quite a while. It's very interesting for me to watch these bands try to make it to the big show since I'm an aspiring rock musician myself. I was especially interested in the band from Riverside, CA, since I live there and could likely get a chance to check them out live. They seemed pretty good, but I can't remember the name. Actually, I'm thinking it was Mantis, but I hope I'm wrong based on the fact that they're gone. I need to check the guide and see if there's another marathon or something before the finale... or was tonight the finale?
Scroby Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 I watched it for awhile and was hooked, then I missed a few weeks and now I'm completely lost whats going on. I just know there are two guys left and I guess their bandmembers are now with them and the fans are able to vote for their favorite now and I have no idea what happen to the last people to get them booted. The last episode I saw was when they got pulled into the police station.

Where's all the guys with long hair and jean jackets with Motörhead patches on 'em drinking beer? Guess I need to get out of the eighties.
