I also find it ironic that on a day celebrating a black leader, people don't have to work...

I don't find it any weirder than getting off work for LABOR DAY.

Here in Virginia, it's not just MLK Day - it's Lee Jackson King Day!

I personally wouldnt do it, but its a wonder they haven't had some pissed off white person claim it.

Robert E Lee was pretty cool. An admirable guy , I think. other than fighting for the rebs, but he wasn't pro-slavery.
