starvenger Posted May 21, 2005 Report Posted May 21, 2005 I dont see why Clear Channel would have a problem with him and youre right Kevin Hot AC (more so than AAA since there's not that many of those stations around) would eat him up. Yeah, i forgot. AAA radio is pretty much dead thanks to the near oligopoly CC et al have over the airwaves. Although the "Jack" format may be a start to bringing it back. Anyways, my point is that CC owns a shitload of radio stations across the US. Get in bed with them, and they'll probably push Bo like crazy.

smh810 Posted May 25, 2005 Author Report Posted May 25, 2005 Is anyone else noticing how they're trying to rig this for Carrie. The band has been awfully loud for Bo and awfully soft for Carrie tonight. Even though in spite of that Bo did win Round 2.

I didn't like Carrie's versions of either of the original songs, but enjoyed Bo's second, so I'd say that Bo was once again the best. I like Bo's style a lot more, so that of course influences me, but I think he is just a lot better than Carrie.

I was forced to sit through this show with my fiance for the first time, and I have to say, Bo isn't really that great. He's a good singer and he'll have a good career either way, but Carrie outsang him by quite a bit.

Mik Posted May 25, 2005 Report Posted May 25, 2005 Yeah, Bo KILLED Carrie in the song they both sang. His version blew hers out of the water. Carrie's original song was MUCH better than Bo's. Not his fault. The problem with Carrie is that she is too similar to Kelly Clarkson. Sure, she has the country aspect, but they could essentially release the same album. I managed to log seven successful votes for Bo while I was watching the show. That's the good thing about DVR...can vote while you watch.

I can walk any street and find a girl who looks just as good or better, and who can sing just as good or better. American hippie boys are much harder to find. To me, the vote should be on the whole season. Does anyone remember any of Carrie's songs? Because the most memorable performances seem to be mostly in Bo's camp

And if you're lucky like Clay Aiken, you'll be more famous than the winner. So many people just assume Clay won because he is so much more famous and sold so many more albums than Reuben.

They weren't that good at all, especially with his style, although he did work it out. I agree with Randy. I'd rather see what producers come up with specifically for him.

They ALWAYS vote and she has never even sniffed the Bottom 3 (until last week winks at Kevin). Go on the internet and do a search for her you'll find a bunch of fan groups for her. Bo has some stuff too but not to the same degree. I think there was a slight edge to Carrie last night if only because she had the last performance of the show which is what people will remember. So for tonight I say Carrie wins by 7500 votes, two years from now Bo wins by 3 million.
