Greg Lewis will put up some real nice numbers for my fantasy team, I hope.

Here's what I have so far:

Terrell Owens: Leaves Training Camp

RotoWire.com Staff - RotoWire.com

Wednesday, August 10, 2005

Update: Owens (groin) apparently left training camp Wednesday afternoon after getting in an argument with coach Andy Reid during a team meeting, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Recommendation: Reports are surfacing that after being asked to leave the team meeting by Reid, Owens then packed his belongings and left Lehigh University, which is the site of the team's training camp. We'll update this situation the moment more information becomes available.

Heh.

If he leaves, bring in Peter Warrick and I could live with Warrick/Lewis/Brown.

And I do believe if TO leaves camp that brings the nulcear option back into play which you better believe I am using if I am in the Eagles FO.

I will never understand how he thinks this is going to help his value around the league. If the Eagles cut him tomorrow, who would sign TO to a deal that is not structured like the current Eagles one where they plan for the inevitible TO breakdown.

The worst part about this ordeal is he is proving Skip freaking Bayless to be absolutely right about everything he has ever said about him.

Man I'd sacrifice a good season for the Eagles this season if they could build better team chemistry and get rid of any malcontent on the team.

Even though I'd like the Eagles to do as well as possible I just don't think this is healthy for the team in the long run.

On NFL Live they are saying that TO had been missing autograph sessions (which are apparently required) and some players went to Reid asking why he got special treatment. It was addressed during a meeting and TO felt he was "disrespected" and left/was suspended.

Fucking baby.....get the hell off of my team. I'm an Eagles fan that's not even in Philadelphia and that's how I feel. The people in Philly should want to lynch the son bitch.

At this point I will have a hard time really enjoying the Eagles this year if TO is still around. Unless he has a dramatic change of attitude.

He's such a fucking little girl.

He basically blew off the mandatory autograph session again, and Reid sent him home. He had been given the day off today due to his groin injury, but decided to show up anyway and put on a show. Reid decided that if he was well enough to come out to practice today, then he was well enough to go to the autograph session.

And the fucking Philly media has choppers over his house in Moorestown....

My feelings exactly. I would rather just lose him and go from there as opposed to this garbage. I don't want to have to cheer for him in any regard at this point.

See I don't agree with the choppers over his house but all he's doing is hurting this team. I was very optimistic about the Eagles future after last season but now......I mean I know we're still good enough to take that division but with all the crap that's going on I don't know what else.

I wish they'd pick up another WR anyway, I could live with Peter Warrick....

There's got to be a team with a big play WR that TO would want to play for and that would want him......I mean someone wants him don't they?

I don't know how much merit this has, since it's coming from a dweeb who does local sports talk here in FL, but he suggested T.O. to Oakland for Jerry Porter.

No one wants him. Why do you think that only the Eagles and Ravens went after him last year?

This is certainly a kick in the balls.

I was going to ask for a TO jersey for christmas but now I think I'll go with Westbrook. A nice black one to accomodate my green McNabb jersey. I definitely won't wear anything with Owens name on it.

If that happened I would fly to Oakland and kiss Al Davis right on the lips.

But that has been a "rumored" deal for about 7 months now and I don't see that really happening. If they got a 4th round pick for him I would be shocked.

Apparently Reid was upset that TO was runnng full speed, catching some balls this morning. TO was to have the day off, to help his groin heal. Reid asked him to slow t down. TO declined, and Reid then expected he'd be at practice today, since he was feeling so good. Things escalated from there.

Good story os espn.com.

Can you imagine a lineup with Moss and TO?

Moss: 89 receptions for 17 TD's

Owens: 80 receptions for 13 TD's

Next leading reciever: 2 receptions

I don't think it's that easy. He wants a new contract so who has the cap space to give him Peyton Manning-like money? He's been injured this week, hasn't he? If so, that has to be a concern. His attitude is also an issue. Sure, there are teams that would love his production but if he has issues with ANDY REID then who would take that on?

And yes, I wish I could trade in my TO jersey.

I think at this point, Oakland would be the only team willing to take a chance on Terrell Owens if he is released by the Eagles. Only problem is, when you add Terrell Owens to Randy Moss, you know one of them is going to be unhappy before the season is over. Interesting stat on ESPN, without Terrell Owens and Todd Pinkston, the receivers in Eagles' training camp have a total of 27 career receptions with no touchdowns.

With Owens on the skids and Pinkston out, my Virginia boy Billy McMullen might actually get some playing time this year. Not too good a sign, though, when you've got two years in the league and the 2nd round rookie leapfrogs you on the depth chart...

Hmmm...how about that Greg Lewis, fella...who, you know...caught a SUPER BOWL TOUCHDOWN.

TO will not *ever* be playing in Oakland as long as Randy Moss is there. Moss does not like TO and Al Davis is not going to upset his #1 WR. Plus, Porter's younger than TO and will give the Raiders more longevity at the position.

TO's too big of an ass for even Oakland to deal with.

Maybe that Gatorade commercial with him and Mike Vick playing will come true...

"How about that Eagles...you know, that LOST the Super Bowl?"

The point, you idiot, was that the Eagles have a WR besides Pinkston and TO who has an NFL TD. And a very important one.

Bash the Birds, they're still light years ahead of any NFC team.
