Need "Ray" via Bit Torrent

Recommended Posts

I posted this over at DVD Talk, but forgot to note that they don't want any discussion on pirating copyrighted material. Basically, I need to view the film Ray before it drops on DVD this Tuesday, since I need to review the DVD BY the end of Tuesday for my college paper.

Since I'm the A&E editor, I won't have time to watch the film and the extras, just the latter. So I need to find a good Torrent site that has it for download. Problem is, the places I always went are gone or don't have it. Suggestions?

I know they're releasing Ray on 500 screens on Friday (to capitalise on the nominations) so I'm sure a theatre somewhere in your area would be showing it.

Pirating takes money away from me, the set painter and out of my kids mouth. Do you want my babies to starve?

Figured I could be a smartass since someone already helped you.

I'm staying the fuck away from Bit Torrent. Our ISP called and said that they got a call from Lion's Gate films about us having downloaded Saw off of Bit Torrent, and that they wouldn't do any legal action this time if we just deleted it. So we get our bootleg movies from people who've already burned them onto DVDs instead.

Thanks for the links. I did check my paper, though, and it looks like the small theater a couple blocks from here will be featuring the film this week (they only show one movie each week), so I'll be dragging the woman to see this tomorrow night. I'm glad it's there, though, since they have a huge screen and not one like you'll find in the multiplex theatres.

That's scary shit. That's why I just download these movies and delete them immediately after watching them, and only if I'm not particularly interested in seeing them but heard they were good (so I don't waste money/time on a movie that might suck).

I remember I downloaded the final episode of Fraiser and I guess it was uploading onto Kazaa or something of the sort, but my cable provider (Cox) suspended my Internet connection so I had to call to get things back in order. All I had to do was stop uploading it and I was good to go. Apparently, Cox gives you "three strikes" and that was my first.
