therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2005 Since I know PK is listening to the Big Show I'd just like to say that story of the elderly woman getting puked on by a fellow Eagles fan was the worst thing I've heard in a long time. Remember kids, getting alcohol poisoning at a football game is a BAD thing to do. I've seen it before...
Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted February 7, 2005 Since I know PK is listening to the Big Show I'd just like to say that story of the elderly woman getting puked on by a fellow Eagles fan was the worst thing I've heard in a long time. Whoa. Details? The host of the Big Show(sports radio show I listen to almost everyday) was walking around and watched a female Eagles' fan in her 60s standing in the line for the restroom get puked all over by a large and drunken male Eagles' fan. Him being taller than her and being just about right over her she was literally showered in the vomit...and to make matters worse when they got her into the restroom something was broken which made it so there was no running water to clean off with. I saw that kind of thing over at Penn State when I went to the Nebraska game a couple of years ago. Now factor in that Beaver Stadium's restrooms are all old and stuff is really bad in there.... therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2005 Heh next year the game is in Detroit. You think you heard about reporters bitching this year, wait until they start on the snow and low temps in Detroit.

Your Paragon of Virtue 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2005 I haven't read much, but back on page eight, someone actually compared Branch to Rice. I mean really, let's not go overboard here. I know your team just won the Super Bowl, but that doesn't give you the right to be a moron. GO BILLS! WE'RE TIED FOR FIRST AGAIN YEAH wh00t~!
KingPK 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2005 I thought Deion Branch was going to breakout this year, so I guess I was right there. The new Montana/Rice just might be Brady/Branch. Was this what you meant? I wasn't comparing Branch to Rice per se, but Montana had a go-to receiver in all his SB wins in Rice, and Branch has caught 21 passes in the last 2 SBs, so THAT'S what I meant. Branch should be Brady's go-to receiver for years to come.
Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2005 Well no surprise the pats won whoopee Anyhow it has occured to me that Boston is now more annoying than ever. Even as a Yankee fan, I often kinda felt bad for the city that never won the big one. even after the pats won 2 sbs they werent happy untill the sox won. ok now youve got what you want, dont be a baggart about it. my point is that you should enjoy your team winning, not just be bragging about it, like it somehow makes you cool or somethin. Its the players glory really not yours. and the funniest part was on my local fox news, they showed a bar in santa monica, ca that had all pats fans there and they were mostly wearing red sox gear and chanting yankees suck (huh?) I thought they were over that now. I wonder if they even truly are football fans. . enjoy, dont be obnoxious, cuz thats what you kept accusing us ny fans about. Show some class for once yikes. I think the patrioits deserved to win and obviously were the best team in the NFL again. But it makes it hard to like them when their fans act that way. Hypocritical aint it? well at least the sb is over. baseball is only two months away Anxsiously awaiting the season opener, despite the fact that it is going to be on the same time as wrestlemania
The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2005 Holy crap, the backlash. Mariotti, Paige, Kornheiser, Wilbon, and more are finally shooting down the Patriot hyperbole.

Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Report post Posted February 7, 2005 I think the difference maker in the game was the Eagles wearing down. Both teams made mistakes and it was a close game, but the Eagles just tired out. The poor clock management at the end of the game was from them being tired. They were all standing around sucking wind and people were leaving the field with cramps. I think they need to get depth in their receiving corps since their receivers run about 20 miles a game and they need to get work on their running game. iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2005 They have plenty of depth in their receiving corps. In case you didn't notice, there's this guy named Freddie Mitchell who hardly even plays when TO's healthy.
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Report post Posted February 8, 2005 Freddie Mitchell aint shit. They need to be able to rotate receivers in and out without there being a big drop-off in quality. Either that or get in better shape during the offseason because those guys were sucking wind out there.
Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2005 Freddie "I don't know when to keep my fucking mouth shut" Mitchell had a whopping ONE catch last night. Consider his 15 minutes over the moment Vinatieri kicked off.
therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2005 I think Mitchell is gone this off-season. Considering that Reid nearly sent him home last week because of him running his mouth and Greg Lewis playing well throughout the playoffs, I think there's probably a good shot that Lewis takes his spot and Mitchell gets sent packing. Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted February 8, 2005 Freddie "I don't know when to keep my fucking mouth shut" Mitchell had a whopping ONE catch last night. Consider his 15 minutes over the moment Vinatieri kicked off. I loved how he said he "had something" for Rodney Harrison in the game. In the end it was Rodney Harrison who actually did up "having something"-the game sealing INT.

Damaramu 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2005 Expect Mitchell to go to Seattle. I mean, all Seattle needs is another cocky receiver that can't catch. Seattle might do better if they'd throw to Jerry Rice. I mean I know he's old but the man can still do his job better than a lot out there today.
nl5xsk1 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2005 Freddie "I don't know when to keep my fucking mouth shut" Mitchell had a whopping ONE catch last night. Consider his 15 minutes over the moment Vinatieri kicked off. Nope, his 15 minutes are going on and on ... http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=1988154 Some highlights: On Wednesday, Mitchell need no such podium to take more shots at the NFL champions. "It was kind of like me being facetious and kidding around. They blew it way out of proportion," Mitchell said of his pregame comments. "[Their reactions] reminded me of little girls. They're sensitive. Real, real sensitive. "Now the thing that bothers me the most is you've got everybody talking now. ... I've got [Patriots coach Bill] Belichick even throwing remarks about me. It's like, 'Man, did I hurt you that bad that you have to go out and shout my name?' Troy Brown saying something, Mr. Belichick saying a little something. It's funny how I got under their skin." And his own teammates weren't even safe: But to hear Mitchell on Wednesday, even that wasn't his fault. Mitchell argued that the surprising play of Terrell Owens contributed to his own minimal contribution. "T.O., he came and did an excellent job ... but that really took away from my play time and my opportunities," Mitchell said. "I couldn't shut a lot of people up that I wanted to shut up. That really hurt the situation." /not sure if this is posted somewhere else already ... my apologies if it is

2GOLD 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2005 Goodbye Freddie, Greg Lewis proved that your ass is gone when cuts are made.... It's just cause the racist Eagles are out to silence a brotha. They should cut T.O's dead weight and let Fred Ex show you why him not making the Pro Bowl every year is a conspiracy organized by the man and Campbell's soup mix. Fred Ex should be the franchise cause Fred Ex is the franchise. You can't contain Fred Ex, you can't cover Fred Ex and you damn sure don't know what struggles Fred Ex must go through every day. And don't get Fred Ex started on STYLE cause there ain't no run way model with the style of Fred Ex. Cut Fred Ex? You can cut Fred Ex, but Fred Ex will catch on with the Falcons and Fred Ex will be back in the Super Bowl in 2006 while yo Eagles sitting out crying and wondering "Why we let Fred Ex go? Oh god, why we let the experience walk?!" Fred Ex gonna catch 14 passes in the Super Bowl, four for touchdown and everyone in Philly gonna be calling Fred Ex and begging the X factor to return.
