Kahran Ramsus Posted February 8, 2005 Report Posted February 8, 2005 Okay, here is the question though, which of all of the ones you mentioned were not "surprising" because you've read rumblings to the effect that they would become on the internet I figured most of those out on my own. And things being spoiled isn't anything new. The fact that Mean Mark Callous was going to be Dibiase's mystery partner at Survivor Series 1990 was known well in advance. It was how they did it that was the surprise.
DMann2003 Posted February 8, 2005 Report Posted February 8, 2005 Tatanka being the one who really sold out to the Million Dollar Man at SummerSlam 1994.
Guest LooneyTune Posted February 8, 2005 Report Posted February 8, 2005 Tatanka being the one who really sold out to the Million Dollar Man at SummerSlam 1994. WWE kept pushing the "OMG Luger is bad" that it only made sense Tatanka was the one who was turning heel.
Vern Gagne Posted February 8, 2005 Report Posted February 8, 2005 When the Macho Man joined the NWO. Wearing the NWO colors wasn't a give away. The Flair turn on Sting at Fall Brawl 95. You knew it was going but, the little Stingers. You didn't care.
Youth N Asia Posted February 8, 2005 Report Posted February 8, 2005 Vince winning the 99 Rumble. The announcing was so bad just going on and on forever how Austin was going to throw Vince out at the end...ok, we get it, he's going to lose.
Guest LooneyTune Posted February 8, 2005 Report Posted February 8, 2005 Michael Cole has to be the worst commentator ever with covering stuff up. Even Vince McMahon could hide the angles in his commentary. Michael Cole: WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A NEW CHAMPION TONIGHT! WOULD I LIE!?!? (Champion retains for the 50684 out of 50684 times Cole has said it)
Gary Floyd Posted February 8, 2005 Report Posted February 8, 2005 Big Bossman turning out to be the masked man in the KOTR Austin vs. Shane & Vince ladder match Bret Hart Joins the NWO. I just saw it coming a mile away

It was in the local papers up here prior to the event in the old wrestling columns that they used to have in the sports sections. Studd winning the 89 Rumble was another thing that was spoiled, as well as Andre winning the WWF Title in 88, although what happened afterwards was not reported. On this topic, one moment which was supposed to be shocking but even my dog could figure out was Owen turning on Bret at Rumble 94.
Cran Da Maniac Posted February 8, 2005 Report Posted February 8, 2005 Big Bossman turning out to be the masked man in the KOTR Austin vs. Shane & Vince ladder match They never revealed who pulled the briefcase (i'm assuming that's what you're refering to)
