Boogeymen did almost $20 million, and it only cost $7 million to make. I didn't expect it to do that well, especially on Super Bowl weekend. But being that it's a PG13 movie helped it sell tickets.

 

Wedding Date was only in 1700 theaters. 1000 Less than the #3 movie Are We There Yet?

 

Meet the Fockers has done about $7 million more in 9 weeks, than the Incredibles in 13 weeks.

 

Meet The Fockers is currently #26 in all time US boxoffice, in between Shrek and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

The fact that Are we there yet? has made that much more than Million Dollar Baby seems criminal to me. Granted, I haven't seen AWTY, but come on America.

I just got Ong-Bak on DVD yesterday, and I'm still crossing my fingers that it comes out around here so I can see it on a big screen. The closest I'd seen it to RI was at a film festival up in Boston back in October.

 

I also picked up In Good Company on DVD, which is an actual screener copy sent to critics or whatever. Widescreen, clear picture, as if it was store bought. All for $5 at the flea market, lol. I may have to stop going to the theater.

Hitch looks like it might be a good first date movie, looks like it might be funny, romantic and you can never go wrong with Will Smith.

 

Maybe In Good Company but I'm not 100% sure about that one.

Boogeyman can't lose. I saw it with a girl that I used to date, like a "sorry I fucked you over, let me take you to a movie" kind of thing, and she was jumping into my lap the entire time. That's really all that movie's good for, though.
