Phoenix Fury Legdrop 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2005 ...and it looks like Iceberg's off both shows due to something unknown, according to Tank in the IWA chat room.
Guest Evolution Report post Posted February 9, 2005 Okay, most of the Highland card looks solid, but I have to ask: Is there a storyline reason for having Todd Sexton on the Iron Saints' team? Seems rather random to have him in the main event, if that is the main event. Oh, and speaking of the possible main event, did IWA do some kind of angle with Masada making an appearance and bringing up their history as the New Carnage Crew in ROH? Or is that just Ian Rotten giving a nod to the ROH fans?

As far as Sexton, it's an IWA vs. Wildside match, and with Sexton being the head trainer at Wildside it makes sense for him to team with the Iron Saints (who turned on their brother Brandon Thomaselli last month in Highland). JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2005 From the IWA board: - Silas Young d. Dysfunction. - Josh Abercrombie d. "Metalhead" Steve Stone. - Masada & Tank d. TJ Dalton & some other guy... sorry. - Icarus & Shane Storm d. Ace Rockwell & Shaun Tempers. - Jimmy Jacobs d. "Sweet & Sour" Larry Sweeney. - Mickie Knuckles d. Sara Del Rey. - Chris Hero d. Todd Sexton. - "The New Age Punisher" B-Boy d. "Double C" Claudio Castagnoli. - Daizee Haze (HOT!) d. APW Future Legend Champion Cheerleader Melissa to win the title. - IWA World Heavyweight Champion Danny Daniels d. IWA Light-Heavyweight Champion Delirious to retain the title. Awesome show. Can't wait for the IWA to return to Vincennes in March. Yeah, the turnout wasn't too shabby, probably a few more than the last Vincennes show. All of the matches were solid and I think everyone thought they got their money's worth. Larry Sweeney is hilarious (it's pronounced "vin-sins," not "vin-cen-nies"), and Delirious, Hero, and Tank were way over. And I STILL can't get over how hot Daizee Haze is... damn... where was I? Oh yeah, anyway, the show was excellent. Much thanks goes out to Ian and the crew for making Vincennes a regular stop on the IWA monthly schedule.
Slingshot Suplex 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2005 Sweet. Daizee wins her first title. If I hadn't had a wedding rehearsal I'd have drove up for this show. Did they announce the return date for March?

Guest DeathBecomesYou Report post Posted February 13, 2005 Looks like the usual high standard from Ian and the crew, Hero vs Double C should be particularily excellent. Delirious d. Arik Cannon to retain the IWA LW Title. At one point, Cannon busted out a slingshot piledriver. What the fuck? Can somebody explain how this would work? Phoenix Fury Legdrop 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2005 The way it was explained to me, Cannon lifted him for a piledriver, bounced his ankles off the top rope, and sat down with it quickly.
