Guest cosbywasmurdered Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 Inc, My friend Jana's mom met David Lee Roth at a 12 step program in Richmond the other night. (He has a place near there supposedly) Should I go to the next meeting and taunt him?
Modern Man's Hustle Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 Get his autograph, then bring up how he was doing a casino tour and hit himself in the face with the microphone stand.
Guest cosbywasmurdered Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 Not bad. I was going to ask him to get me Sammy's autograph.
Modern Man's Hustle Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 That's good, too. The microphone stand to the face ended his casino tour, though.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted February 14, 2005 Author Report Posted February 14, 2005 I'm not answering anymore questions.
Murmuring Beast Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 Way to ruin the joke, Shuttlespeed.
Modern Man's Hustle Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 Joke would have to be funny for me to ruin it.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted February 14, 2005 Author Report Posted February 14, 2005 Can't ruin something that was already bad.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted February 14, 2005 Author Report Posted February 14, 2005 Glad to see MMH and I are in agreement, but I still hope the cocaine kills him.
Modern Man's Hustle Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 I'm so high, nothing can hurt me.
Nighthawk Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 Now in a couple weeks... or hours, I don't know, I'll do one.
Ted the Poster Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 Inc's new avatar appears to be Mr. Chile. If so, good choice sir.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted February 14, 2005 Author Report Posted February 14, 2005 He's the guy from this site. If that's his name, then there you go.
Guest Failed Mascot Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 I thought it was an angry David Blaine.
Nighthawk Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 Someone told me I look like David Blaine once. I've shown pictures here before, you know it's a lie.
Art Sandusky Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 Way to ruin the joke, Shuttlespeed. MMH isn't Shutterspeed/iB.
Modern Man's Hustle Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 Suck it, Murmuring Beast.
Nighthawk Posted February 15, 2005 Report Posted February 15, 2005 Incandenza said he would give me his arrival schedule by Monday, but as it's now Tuesday I guess I won't go see him today. That's ok, as I really don't feel like driving to Orlando today. I suppose I could still go to Jacksonville later, but it's much farther. Maybe if there was a concert in town I wanted to see.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted February 15, 2005 Author Report Posted February 15, 2005 I didn't know until 3am what my plans were for today. Turns out I'm gonna arrive with only a couple of hours to spare before the show, so a meet-up isn't feasible (considering you'd have to drive like an hour just to get there).
Giuseppe Zangara Posted May 31, 2006 Author Report Posted May 31, 2006 Sam Adams isn't bad, but I rarely drink it. The white ale I mentioned earlier is good, but it tastes just like Blue Moon and Hoegaarden. Might as well get one of those. In my opinion, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is the finest American-produced beer on the market. Wow. In the 15-and-a-half-months since I posted this, I've since gone gaga over the following American breweries: Avery, the Shipyard and Dogfish Head. I'd actually had Avery and Shipyard beers before I made the original post (Sea Dog is a Shipyard-offshoot, for instance), but fancy beer distribution in Jacksonville didn't blossom until within the last couple of years. Also, I've since had a number of Sam Adams' specialty brews—an example: their black lager and chocolate bock are fucking quality—so my opinion on them has risen considerably. Oh, and I've grown to like Flying Dog, too. I still like Sierra Nevada a bunch, but I've since learned there's so many awesome American breweries.
EricMM Posted May 31, 2006 Report Posted May 31, 2006 What was up with that "Generation defining artist" thread from Music?
