the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2005 Charlie Manuel announced today that Placido Polanco is going to be the starting 2B tomorrow. The one reason that Polanco should be starting is if they are platooning and a lefty is up tomorrow. That is not the case which is not a good sign on how they plan on using Utley. I would throw a shit fit, but honestly I expected it because heaven forbid you sit the man with "veteran presence". Does not give me much hope that anything will be different from last year, got to have the veterans (lord knows Lieby, Thome, Bell, Lofton and Abreu isn't enough veteran presence in the starting 8).
