Guest Failed Mascot Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 Another thread in which Mike helped derail and kill. Just to cause him to be angry for the rest of the night... Michael Moore 4 President in 2008~
Guest MikeSC Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 Another thread in which Mike helped derail and kill. Just to cause him to being angry for the rest of the night... Michael Moore 4 President in 2008~ Mike helped derail and kill? Mike initiated it. An unnamed poster proceeded to bitch and moan. Oh well. -=Mike
Guest sek69 Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 I'm just getting tired of every goddamn thread getting derailed by this assclown. Yes I helped in this case, but it's become impossible to go through this folder without having to wade through all his self-aggrandizing bullshit. Besides, it seems weirdly fitting to turn a HST mourning thread into a flame fight.

Guest MikeSC Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 To please treble, I will no longer reply to the special ed section. -=Mike
Guest Failed Mascot Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 I was waiting for somebody to break out the "Doo Doo Head" insult.
Guest MikeSC Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 I'll just close with good riddance to a shitty writer. -=Mike
Styles Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 .... Ok, in an effort to get this back on track: Who is this guy? Never heard of him...
Guest Failed Mascot Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 he wrote Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas which in turn ended up being one of Johnny Depp's best films.
Styles Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 I'm proud to say I've never seen a Johnny Depp film. I think.
Guest MikeSC Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 he wrote Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas which in turn ended up being one of Johnny Depp's best films. One of Depp's best films? Rotten Tomatoes Score: 39%? He was a shit writer who decided to fuck over his family rather than deal with his unhappiness. -=Mike
Guest Failed Mascot Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 How many times do you need to post "he was a shit writer"? Its not going to disappear from page 1 or posts 1-5 so you can stop putting it. I like the movie and think Depp did a great job in it. That won't change because some website is trying to tell me otherwise.

That won't change because some website is trying to tell me otherwise. The film was the shit. Hell, "Pirates of the Caribbean" was better --- and I bloody hated "Pirates". Oh, and he was a shit writer. -=Mike
Styles Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 Not to take sides, but Rotten Tomatoes composites like every movie review in the country from every major paper and website. So that's a 39% composite review nationwide for the movie. That's why it is such a good resource for movie reviews: www.rottentomatoes.com
Guest Failed Mascot Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 This may come as a surprise to you but people share different opinions on things. I know...its a pretty shocking revelation. I'll let you mull that over for the rest of the evening and come to terms with it.
Guest MikeSC Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 This may come as a surprise to you but people share different opinions on things. I know...its a pretty shocking revelation. Fully aware of that. Some people liked "Fear and Loathing". Not many, judging by reviews and box office receipts. But some did... I'll let you mull that over for the rest of the evening and come to terms with it. So you liked a bad movie? Everybody likes bad movies. Heck, I like "Fifth Element" and that film is friggin' ridiculous. -=Mike
Guest Failed Mascot Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 I'm sorry. I'll never enjoy another movie that Rotten Tomatoes tells me I can't again.
Styles Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 Failed, I assume you were responding to Mike's post and not mine. But my point was that only 39% of the reviewes agreed with you. Anyway, this is pretty funny that a thread about a guy dying is being sidetracked like this with arguments about movie reviews. As I said, Im not familiar with this guy but he's just getting no sold here, even Arafat got his farewells (well, mostly telling him to burn in hell, but still...)
Guest MikeSC Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 I'm sorry. I'll never enjoy another movie that Rotten Tomatoes tells me I can't again. Who said you can't? But don't pretend it's a good movie when it's not. Again, I like "Fifth Element". I wouldn't begin to claim it was a good movie. -=Mike
Guest MikeSC Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 You all run very homosexually. I have a hurt knee right now. -=Mike
Guest Failed Mascot Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 The only thing I dislike about the 5th Element is Chris Tucker. His character was terrible.
Guest MikeSC Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 The only thing I dislike about the 5th Element is Chris Tucker. His character was terrible. The plot and dialogue was borderline embarrassing. I can easily admit that. But I like Bruce Willis' work, so I overlooked that and reveled in the absolutely amazing (for the time) visuals. -=Mike
Guest sek69 Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 I have a hurt knee right now. -=Mike Interestingly enough, so do I. OMG BIPARTISAN AGREEMENT~!
Guest MikeSC Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 Johnny Depp >>>>>>> Chris Tucker. Well, if "Willy Wonka" ends up as goofy as I fear it might, that might cease being the case. -=Mike
Guest MikeSC Posted February 21, 2005 Report Posted February 21, 2005 I have a hurt knee right now. -=Mike Interestingly enough, so do I. OMG BIPARTISAN AGREEMENT~! Is it your left knee? Because that'd be a helluva coincidence. -=Mike ...My left knee hurts too!
