Raza, even if Will went about to change it

I actually don't mind the trade as much as other people, believe it or not. I am kicking myself more over my itchy trigger finger than about the trade itself. I wouldn't even change it, since I am now somewhat curious as to how good of a team I can build minus Morneau.

As I said to you though Will, I do think Towers will still be a worthy pick up for you from me. However, I got him off of FA to replace Santos for this coming week.

Well, yeah. If I thought he was absolute crap, I probably wouldn't have traded Justin Morneau for him. My hope is that upgrade of getting him over Jason Jennings is greater than the downgrade of losing Morneau and replacing him with Nick Green or whomever I end up using in my utility spot. If I am still in first place come August, I'll say it paid off nicely.

Amazing, i actually won a matchup and climb out of last place. My offense does what it was designed to, and now that i have a very good pitcher in AJ Burnett maybe i can actually start to win a few pitching stats other than Saves as well.

Once again a player goes on the DL for me just after the weekly rosters lock. First Benson, then Molina, now it looks like Troy Percival is out for over a month and leaves me a position down, though at least it's only relief pitching, not a starter with the minimum innings pitched limit.

I'll include #1 draft pick.

 Um... Let me think about that one.

I had Edmonds as a keeper, so it costed me nothing.

I got Morneau for giving up nothing.

Let's see... If I was a smart man, that would then suggest that giving these guys up would be stupid beyond belief. Hm...

This is assuming I was smart, and considering I gave up nothing to get both of these guys, that would then suggest I'm smart.

...I think you see where this is going.

You know, if we could make it so that pitchers were locked and batters were day-to-day, that would honestly be more awesome. Sadly, we can't.

And you ain't the only one dealing with this type of problem. I've now had my second guy go down and I can't do a thing about it.

Well Arroyo got his appeal for the fight, right + Kenny Rogers is unhittable and will have perfect games since Cordero blows so many Saves + Pavano is good enough for 6 innings a week + another 6 innings from the RP = 24+ innings.

6 * 3 + 6 = 24

Yes... I honestly can't help myself:

On The Block

Barry Bonds

~ Trade must include giving me a 2nd rounder for a 7th

Tino Martinez and Jorge Julio (package deal)

~ Wanting: Good 2B

Juan Rincon

~ Wanting: Offers, willing to package

Scott Podsednik

~ Wanting: Offers, willing to package

Rondell White

~ Wanting: Offers, willing to package

Two things:

One, if the guy I have has better stats the guy you are trying to pawn off of me, I ain't going to be interested unless I know I'm able to screw you over.

Two, I've stated that I would be an idiot to trade away Morneau or Edmonds. Hence, don't package them with one of the suggested above players unless you are going to give me a hell of a deal that works out for both clubs.

Oh and Komijul, looks like your aquistion of Towers paid off for you. >_< Dammit.

For what I was expecting has a team. I'm suprised how competive i've been so far. 1-2-1. I don't know how long it will last, but for having such a young team it's nice to at least put up a fight.
