The log lists Salvador's date of birth as June 29, 1965 and gives his height as 5' 10 and weight as 160 lbs. As reported by the Asbury Park Press, police in California arrested Salvador on Feb. 10 after finding him sleeping in a parked car with a girl with whom he had just had sexual intercourse, said Jon Fleischman of the Orange County Sheriff's Department. Salvador was charged with committing a lewd act with a child and was released after posting $100,000 bail, Fleischman said. On Thursday (Feb. 24), Salvador was apprehended in Orange County, Calif. by two detectives from New Jersey in connection with an incident last month where he allegedly met a 14-year-old girl from Sayreville, New Jersey through the Internet, drove from Pennsylvania and sexually assaulted her in an Old Bridge shopping center. He was charged with kidnapping, aggravated sexual assault, luring to entice a minor through the Internet and endangering the welfare of a child, according to the Asbury Park Press. If convicted, he faces a maximum of 30 years in prison on the kidnapping charge alone. According to authorities, Salvador told the 14-year-old Sayreville girl he was "T-Rex" and he liked to impersonate the guitarist for the heavy metal band they both liked, STATIC-X, reports the Asbury Park Press. I'm not a fan of Static-X but I enjoyed his work with Murderdolls and Dope and thought Tripp seemed like a cool guy from reading interviews and stuff. I guess not. That's one of the many reasons they dropped him. When you're being prosecuted for such charges, you're often not allowed to leave the state, let alone the country, as I'm sure Static will be doing sometime soon. I can't really say I feel sorry for a high school-aged girl that banged a rock star, but that was still pretty stupid. By the way, does anyone else think the law should have different classes for banging underage girls. I'm thinking 12 and under you rot in jail, 13-15 you get a few years, and 16-17, you get probation. It just seems like that would be a little more fair.
