Guest Brian Report post Posted April 6, 2005 Baltimore Elite Giants Theme of my season: A TRIBUTE TO MR. SUTTLES If anyone needs bullpen help, I've got seven relievers plus two starting pitchers I plan to put in the bullpen. I might be looking for a right-handed bat in return. Some of these guys, like both my shortstops, can platoon. Projected line-up: 1. Tony Gwynn (RF)(L) 2. Eddie Collins (2B) (L) 3. Lou Gehrig (1B) (L) 4. Duke Snyder (CF) (L) 5. Charlie Keller (LF) (L) 6. George Davis (SS) (S) 7. Buck Ewing © ® 8. Graig Nettles (3B)* (L) Bench: Darrell Porter © (L) Hughie Jenning (SS) ® Ken Boyer (3B) ® Fred Clarke (LF) (L) Kenny Lofton (CF) (L) Projected Rotation: Bob Feller (RHP) Tom Glavine (LHP) Jim Bunning (RHP) Vida Blue (LHP) Wes Ferrell (RHP) * Bullpen: Stan Coveleski (RHP) ** Frank Viola (LHP) ** Jesse Orosco (LHP) *** Ron Perranoski (LHP) Ed Roebuck (RHP) Clay Carroll (RHP) Frank Linzy (RHP) Reserves: Luke Easter (1B) - L Dusty Baker (RF) - R Elmer Flick (RF) (L) Larry Sherry (RHP) Hugh Casey (RHP) * I need to see how the simulator treats Wes Ferrell, a pitcher who was very good during a pitcher's era but doesn't really put up comparable numbers to the others. Same for Greg Nettles, except vice-versa, who will probably split time with Ken Boyer. ** Long-relievers. ***Front-runner for closer-job, though very close with Ed Roebuck. Orosco is a great specialist in his own.

Styles 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2005 Questioning the league official. That's a bannable offense. May 2 2005, 8:46 PM- In a shocking statement released from commishner "Evil" Al Keiper's Philadelphia based office this evening, it was announced that all of the players of the St. Louis Browns have tested positive under All Time Baseball's new steroid policy, and have been suspended for the season. Furthermore, half of the Browns have been revealed to have gambled on All Time Games in the past, banning them from ever enterting the All Time Hall Of Fame, while the other half of the Browns have been named as terror suspects thanks to an "anonymous tip" to the FBI and as a result have been detained in a holding camp, per the Patriot Act. As a result of these completely coincidental and unfortunate circumstances, the St. Louis Browns have no choice but to forfeit their season. Replacement players are not allowed in the All Time League, as per the collective barganing agreement between Commisioner Evil and the legends. The AP contrinuted to this report. EVIL~! alkeiper 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2005 So this could turn out to be a big waste of time? It's not. I'm going to run with this shortly.
EVIL~! alkeiper 0 Report post Posted May 5, 2005 One important change. Well, semi-important. Instead of a 25 man roster and five reserves, I am just going to run with 30 man rosters. I think the effect will be minimal. It just saves me the trouble of having to switch the rosters around before setting the lineups.
