GreatWhiteNope Posted March 7, 2005 Report Posted March 7, 2005 Preview: Deadwood 13: A Lie Agreed Upon, Part 1 The wait is over! Al Swearengen and Seth Bullock come to blows in the explosive Season Two premiere, Sunday at 9 pm. Season opens with a 2-parter, interesting. I loved the first season but can't bring myself to buy the DVD's. Probably because I saw each episode twice and the extra supplements would ruin the illusion for me. Great fucking show - can't wait.
Nighthawk Posted March 7, 2005 Report Posted March 7, 2005 Not to mention the astronomical price tag. Not a very popular show here, it would seem. Well, I watched it. I'll admit I'm not overly excited by the show, but I like westerns enough to do it, and I am impressed with a lot of the acting. I didn't follow it very well tonight, I was distracted. I'll have to watch it again this week.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted March 7, 2005 Report Posted March 7, 2005 Why do HBO dvds cost so much more than other TV dvds? (at least it seems that way)...
Guest Boomer Sprinklespax Posted March 7, 2005 Report Posted March 7, 2005 Because HBO is better than everything when it comes to drama, except for possibly The Shield or Nip/Tuck.
Youth N Asia Posted March 7, 2005 Report Posted March 7, 2005 Is anyone taping it? I just picked up season 1 on DVD, haven't watched it yet, but would like to get season 2 episodes on tape. PM me if you're interested in making a trade, I won't check back here due to spoilers. And I hate HBO's standard $80 price tag on their good dramas
1234-5678 Posted March 10, 2005 Report Posted March 10, 2005 I would just like to point out that if you have off work or have nothing to do on Sunday nights, and you're not watching the show, you're a complete idiot. The only valid excuses are work, pussy, or not having HBO.
