Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted March 7, 2005 Woohoo! 2 games over .500! And a victory over the Pacers! (gloats in front of alf now before the Pacers kill LA at Conseco probably)
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted March 7, 2005 Still no Tinsley for at least a week, and no Jermaine O'Neal now, as well. We still made it relatively close near the end, so I can deal with that.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted March 7, 2005 Hey we beat the Mavericks at full strength last week. I'm still relishing that.
nogoodnick 0 Report post Posted March 8, 2005 Wow the Blazers look like absolute shit since Mo Cheeks was booted. They just look so uninspired especially Miles.
Guest Mindless_Aggression Report post Posted March 9, 2005 Chris Webber just looks awful as a Sixer. When with Sacto the last few seasons, he was gonna get you good numbers, but somehow not manage to contribute much towards winning, now he can't even get the numbers. The Kings system really helped him out a lot and he's just lost out there with the Sixers. On a completely unrelated note, Josh Childress is turning into a pretty damn good player. Atlanta's got a decent stock of young talent all of a sudden.
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted March 9, 2005 Pacers beat Utah despite blowing a 25-point 1st quarter lead. SJax with 30 and Reggie with 24. Gutsy effort by the Jazz.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted March 9, 2005 Well if the Kobe-less Lakers can do it, the Tinsley and O'Neal-less Pacers could probably do it as well..
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted March 9, 2005 I await Kurt Angle Mark's gloating. What the fuck happened in the 3rd quarter? I was following the game up until halftime and things looked alright but it looked like a total meltdown after halftime. How typical.
Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted March 9, 2005 I hope the Lakers get the 8th seed. I want their first round pick with the Celts and they don't get it if the Lakers are a lotto team.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted March 9, 2005 Oh, they probably will. They could probably even move up further than the 8th seed. Like I said, after San Antonio, Phoenix, and Seattle, the rest of the West is pretty much interchangeable. They can all beat each other at any given time, while the top 3 should beat any of them with ease.
NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted March 9, 2005 I just got back from the Kings game. Kings win as Bibby hits the buzzer-beater~! WHOO.

I was following the game up until halftime and things looked alright but it looked like a total meltdown after halftime. How typical. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Great win for the Clippers. Keeps their snowball's change in hell playoff hopes alive. Dunleavy finally decided to light a fire under the teams ass after last night's loss and the team responded. I just wish this team would have been 100% healthy this year because they would have been the Wizards or Bulls of the West. My brother, a Laker lover, was so mad he was ready to kick my ass and I didn't even have to taunt him. He wanted everybody but Kobe to be traded from the team. Good thing Chris Webber isn't taking those for you guys anymore, huh? My brother, a Laker lover, was so mad he was ready to kick my ass and I didn't even have to taunt him. He wanted everybody but Kobe to be traded from the team. Umm, they already just did that this past offseason...
Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted March 9, 2005 Not true. You still have Devean(sp?) George.
The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted March 9, 2005 And Luke Walton! And don't forget Slava!
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted March 9, 2005 Yes, we RE-SIGNED Slava to top it all off. He was set to become a free agent, but we needed someone to take a ton of shots without actually making any of them for some odd reason. Mitch Kupchak: GENIUS~! Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted March 9, 2005 we needed someone to take a ton of shots without actually making any of them every team needs one of those guys. The Celtics have the spot being occupied by Marc Blount
The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted March 9, 2005 It's funny because I thought Slava was as good as gone.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted March 9, 2005 To be fair, I think they're keeping him around more as a project than anything since he has decent size and can rebound. But he's a fuckin ballhog, for christ's sake. He ranked behind Shaq and Kobe last year in shot attempts! THIRD on the team, more than Karl Malone, Gary Payton, Fisher, and George. He's gotten way less minutes this year though, since LA has an overage of forwards (and thus not enough guards and only one useful center since the Yugo signed in the offseason broke down and probably won't come back). But still keeping Medvedenko over Fisher pisses me off.

Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2005 The Celtics don't even need to play Blount much anymore, Raef, Walker and Jefferson should be enough to man the 4-5, especially since Walker can play 40 minutes a night.

Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted March 11, 2005 This makes that Clippers loss even that much more unbelievable. Although tonight's game showed that Kobe Bryant is the difference for the Lakers when it comes to facing the Mavs. Two wins over the #4 team in the West in as many weeks, yet a loss at Staples (which is basically a home game) against the Clips. This 6-game road trip can make or break their season the way things are right now.
Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted March 11, 2005 The refs didn't help the Mavs out any allowing Kobe to bludgeon Dirk while he was shooting a 3 late. I'm not saying he would have hit all the FTs or the Mavs would even win, but Dirk and the Mavs got screwed on that one.
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Report post Posted March 11, 2005 They need to get back to wearing regular jerseys. Fuck all this "wear whatever you want so we can try to sell more jerseys" shit. Whatever happened to tradition? Why is the home team wearing their away jerseys now?
The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2005 Why does Dallas wear green, a color that isn't even in its existing color scheme, more than the two-tone blue? The reason that Cuban got rid of the old green and blue is because it looks fucking awful. Also, yellow jerseys being treated as road jerseys thus making the other team wear white is annoying as well.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted March 11, 2005 Yellow jerseys are pretty much awful no matter what sport or situation. Except for Green Bay's "big cheese" jerseys.
