Guest TheDon Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 Take this for what it is worth. He recently reported that John Cena and Randy Orton will likely be traded following Wrestlemania from what he hears. I believe he also reported Batista going to Smackdown as well.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 So...they're going to kill off the heat of two of their most over stars by having them lose to heels in title matches at WM, then trade them for each other? That doesn't make much sense. But then, this is SKeith (and the WWE) we're talking about.
cabbageboy Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 No actually it's saying that they'll likely trade new champ for new champ after WM in order to create some new matchups. Thing is, what the hell is the point of trading Batista to SMDN when they just did a big storyline about him wanting to be on RAW? Also the SMDN heel side is fucking hideous so I have no idea who he'd feud with after crushing JBL (there is no way they job Batista to JBL).
tekcop Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 Wasn't Meltzer saying something like this way back when Randy was still in the WM main event? I do believe he was.
Kurt Angle Mark Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 Wasn't Meltzer saying something like this way back when Randy was still in the WM main event? I do believe he was. Yeah Meltzer said in WOL a few weeks back that the original plan was to switch Orton and Cena after they had won the belts at Wrestlemania. IMO the only thing they should do now is send Orton to Smackdown to feud with Cena
redbaron29 Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 Also the SMDN heel side is fucking hideous so I have no idea who he'd feud with after crushing JBL (there is no way they job Batista to JBL). This wouldn't really matter because when you really think about it Batista isn't exactly a clear-cut face. He is being booked as a bad ass, who got sick of being Trips bitch boy, which is making him the face by default. However, character-wise he hasn’t really done anything to say, “ I like puppies and long-winded walks.” He in no way fits the cookie-cutter face the WWE has a hard on with as of late. He has yet to magically become friends with all the people he once hated. In fact, thus far they have booked Batista rather as a vague tweener; which at this point is probably the best thing they can do. Even with that said, I’m sure they will find a way to fuck up his booking, and the whole story sounds like a lot of balderdash to me. Even if the WWE is planning this, it will change by wrestlemania.
Guest Loss Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 Old, old news. This came out in like November, when the plan was still for Orton to go over HHH at Wrestlemania. This is probably up in the air now.
Guest BillyTheStud Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 useless moron Scott Keith is fat and has stupid hair.
Enigma Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 Yeah, we talked about this a long time ago.
Placebo Effect Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 A lot of people sure are bitter they're not an Internet celebrity...
KingPK Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 And this was when Orton was still pencilled in for the RAW main against HHH. Orton could work on SD, but only as a heel. If he beats Undertaker, he could milk that for all it's worth ("I am the man that stopped the streak."), and ramp up the cockyness to 11.
Karc Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 useless moron useless moron Scott Keith is fat and has stupid hair. And you're not? Come on, at least be funny when bashing the guy. Yeah, this rumor is old. Really old.

Kahran Ramsus Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 He said nothing about Batista actually going to Smackdown. He said that that is what he would do, in order to give him a new crop of opponents. And yes, Orton & Cena switching shows were discussed before Orton's single push bombed. The whole thing was probably intended to get the more important title on the show with HHH.

Guest Salacious Crumb Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 I doubt it'll happen since Orton is whining/crying/begging to not be turned back to a heel for whatever reason. So there's not really much they can do with Orton/Cena if they won't turn Orton.
CanadianChris Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 Just testing something... useless moron useless moron Scott Keith EDIT:
cameron chaos Posted March 11, 2005 Report Posted March 11, 2005 I doubt it'll happen since Orton is whining/crying/begging to not be turned back to a heel for whatever reason. So there's not really much they can do with Orton/Cena if they won't turn Orton. Then he's stupid. He's been buried as a face in recent months. A heel turn is needed before he is unover as he was when he came out with messy hair, slapping hands and doing that frogsplash cross body as a finisher.
KingPK Posted March 12, 2005 Report Posted March 12, 2005 I'm still wondering who put that macro in Again, I've forgotten who, but I'll readily take all the credit.

I don't think Orton is doing himself favors, so I think WWE will turn him heel anyways, against his wishes.

Adam Posted March 12, 2005 Report Posted March 12, 2005 I'd be very happy with Batista and Cena switching shows. Then perhaps Cena could go back to his edgier persona and cut some reasonable promos. Batista and maybe Jericho to SmackDown could also work with Cena and Reigns to RAW.

spman Posted March 12, 2005 Report Posted March 12, 2005 Meh, I'm sure with proper booking, you can have JBL retain the belt at WM and still have Cena come out looking strong, which is probobly what they will do, and is what they should do. I could care less about Orton, job him to Undertaker for all I care.
Gary Floyd Posted March 12, 2005 Report Posted March 12, 2005 I'm still wondering who put that macro in He's right here
