Guest Flyboy Report post Posted March 28, 2005 I really have no objections with that pick at all, but I'll wait until pinjockey approves he's cool with it.
UZI Suicide 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2005 Sorry I'm a little late(was stuck at a family easter thing all day), I hope I can still make my pick, if i can I'd like to select for the Dallas Cowboys at number 42.. Chris Henry, WR, West Virginia.
Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted March 28, 2005 I can't see why you couldn't since there were no picks made after Dallas'
the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2005 The Bradley pick was fine, as long as the picks made are reasonable go ahead and make them and move on to the next pick. I don't need to approve the picks, I am just going to stop any "stick this shitty player on a team since they missed their pick so fuck em" picks. That said we'll put Henry as the pick since the next pick was not made. And Flyboy is on the clock until 3:30am EST since he has the next two picks.

That's why I really liked him for the Vikes. They should have some experience with handling that kind of player, know what works and what doesn't work, and not screw him up. He easily has the potential of all of the other wideouts in the draft, minus that Matt Jones freak. He can play behind Burleson/Robinson/Taylor, get some experience, and provide a nice big redzone target for those Culpepper fades.
Conspiracy_Victim 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2005 Wow good thing I decided to check the board before I left for work. The Houston Texans continue to overhaul the DL and select: Luis Castillo, DT, Northwestern 6'3", 305 pounds. Strong (32 reps at the combine), quick (4.79 40 time), and smart (Academic All-American) he could put on a little more weight and become Seth Payne's successor at the nose. Gert T 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2005 With the 48th pick, the Cincinnati Bengals select Fred Gibson, WR, Georgia. Peter Warrick and his agent are the only people who say he is 100%. And Kelly Washington seems to have a firm place in Marvin Lewis's doghouse. The Bengals could go D-Line or Center here, but taking a chance on potential boom (or bust...) Gibson is understandable, to surround Carson Palmer with more weapons.

Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted March 29, 2005 Although it may be a bit of a gamble to continue going against somewhat conventional logic and getting a safety since the Packers have none, I still believe a great defense begins with a solid front seven, and they need not only a solid replacement but an upgrade at the OLB spot, so the Green Bay Packers will select.. OLB Kevin Burnett, Tennessee That picture above shows a big reason why I like Burnett, since he actually WRAPS UP his tackles. Anyone who watched the Vikings-Packers games last season who happen to be big fans of defense and football fundamentals like myself had to wince at the shoddy tackling on both sides. Sherman as a GM concentrated too much on speed and physical ability, ignoring things such as what may be an ideal size at a position and ability on playing football. Thankfully, he's no longer GM, otherwise I would have traded my next pick and the 3rd rounder to move up and draft Maurice Clarett to be realistic. (Anyone remember that B.J. Sander fiasco last year? trading a 2nd and 3rd round pick to select a punter that didn't even get any playing time last year after shanking a shitload of punts in the preseason? Fuckin' a.) I also like having a linebacking corps with a Barnett and a Burnett and would be amused to see announcers screw it up over and over again during future broadcasts. CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2005 Denver selects: Logan Mankins, OG, Fresno State This pick is a bit of a gamble, as Mankins has a history of knee problems, but he has the size and ability to develop into a solid offensive lineman for the Broncos.
