UZI Suicide 0 Report post Posted March 20, 2005 I was just listening to some music and I noticed in one particular song, "Get Down" by Nas, he describes a scene eerily similar to the whole Brian Nichols thing. Are they any song lyrics you know that foreshadow events that happened later? This song came out in 2002.. Doesn't Billy Joel's "You May Be Right" start with squeeling wheels and a crash? Here is something in reverse, George Strait was given a song called "Love Without End, Amen" where the song writer mentions a year when the singer's son would be born, Strait had it changed to reflect the year his own son was born Another Billy Joel one, "Famous Last Words" is the last song on the River Of Dreams album (may have been the last produced, I'm not sure) and sometime after the album came out he basically said he was done making pop-rock records and concentrating on other projects and such John Denver sang "I'm Leaving On A Jet Plane Rumors about duets between artists doing cheating songs for example Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood did "In Another's Eyes" and shortly thereafter both ended up getting divorced and have now been together for a few years now Steve Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Yeah he had been leaning towards getting out while making the album and from what I've heard it was pure coincidence that "Famous Last Words" ended up being the last pop song he'd ever do. I guess he was originally thinking about going in that direction as "a side project" or something and decided to go full throttle and "Famous Last Words" was his way of breaking Prospero's staff (from Shakespear's "The Tempest") Steve Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
