"Jesus is a Cunt" would have been a Cradle of Filth shirt, I believe. They suck. By the way, I think turning the other cheek was done on a situation by situation basis. Lest we forget, Jesus also made a whip and laid into some money changers.
Your Paragon of Virtue Posted March 30, 2005 Report Posted March 30, 2005 Turning the other cheek isn't supposed to be taken literally, it's a practice back in those days more or less referring to verbal stuff, as opposed to someone physically doing something. Like if someone made fun of you pointlessly, best to ignore it. Physical violence is a whole other ball game. Christ didn't advocate pacifism.
