Guest TheDon Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 I just went to hooters.com to check their schedule and only 2 hooters restaurants are showing Wrestlemania 21.
Guest Shadow Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 they simply felt it was hurting business. BW3's and smaller bars MAY air Mania. however the nothing shows like NWO wont be aired at a bar unless the owner of said bar is a fan.
Jingus Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 Lots of them still air the shows anyway in an unofficial manner, the store manager simply orders the pay-per-view through the cable company like any other consumer. They're not supposed to, but some still do, since it clearly brings in a bunch of extra customers for that one night.

But this guy also had one of those magic card thingys where you get all PPVs for free. Once he got caught he refused to spend the money to buy the PPVs himself despite the fact that usually on Sunday nights the bar is empty but when they have PPVs they were lucky they had enough room for people.
DMann2003 Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 As far as I know my local Hooters still shows em
LessonInMachismo Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 WWE demanded a high sum of money from Hooters for the right to continue showing PPV's.
Youth N Asia Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 check wwe.com they have a section called blast areas, it's a complete list is places that are showing the ppvs. I'm going to Hollywood Cinema in Birch Run to watch it this year...$7
Guest Shadow Posted April 1, 2005 Report Posted April 1, 2005 Most of those places are the ones that actually conform to the rules. Alot of bars nowadays just directly order it and just show the major ppvs(rumble, mania...) because they know that draws a good crowd. the safe bet is just to call up your local hooters, bdubs or whatnot and see if they are airing it. Luckily for me; I got about 10 bars within 25 minutes that occasionaly air a ppv and im certain at least a few of them will be having Mania aired but I'll be watching @ home anyways.
Guest netslob Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 yeah like you go there to watch the friggin' wrestling.
