Zito: 9 1/3 IP, 15 runs allowed

Rest of A's Pitchers: 33 2/3 IP, 4 runs allowed

Can Barry hold on to his 11 run "lead" until his next start on Friday? Tune in and find out!

He should of traded all three. None, are worth a long term contract, which is what Hudson was owned after this season.

Considering they could have sent him to the Orioles and probably got some of the O's pitching prospects and a bat out of the deal, yeah I think he should have moved him.

UPDATE!

Rich Harden, Justin Duchscherer, Kiko Calero, and Octavio Dotel combine to give up one run against the Devil Rays today.

Zito: 9 1/3 IP, 15 runs allowed (0-2, 11.57 ERA)

Rest of A's Pitchers: 42 2/3 IP, 5 runs allowed (3-1, 1.05 ERA)

Zito holding on strong!

Zito lost it last year, and I think he has officially decided to stop trying to find it. His second straight poor outing to start the season. And ESPN Fools said The A's were down to the "Big 1" Actually, if anyone is that, I'd say Harden is poised for a breakout year, and the youngin's holding their own most of the time, while we see Zito make or break the future of his career.

Heck, Harden is a better pitcher than Zito already. He might be better than Mulder as well.

God dammit don't blow your lead in one night Rest of A's!

Two blow outs in three nights. Not an inspiring start to the season.

It's be nice if the A's could do SOMETHING with all of their scattered hits. I cringe everytime I turn the game back on and I hear Ray Fosse say "Runners at first & third with ONLY ONE OUT" cause I know what's coming next, strikeout, followed by a fly out.......:(

So... Zito is Cougar and Harden is Maverick?

That is a good way to put it, although I am not sure Harden is Maverick quite yet. Although Hudson did say that Harden as a Triple A pitcher had better stuff then any of the Big Three, but who knows.
