Ripper 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2005 Well, Charlotte got 18 wins (same as the old Charlotte team, the Hornets), 5 more than Atlanta, and they were a true expansion team. I mean, who did they have besides Emeka Okafor? As for the Hawks, though, Josh Smith was badass in the dunk contest. Bring back Dominique Wilkins, Steve Smith, and Spud Webb! Brevin Knight, Gerald Wallace and Breznioghlg(who ever the fuck that Center is) were all incredible this year. Then from game in to game out they would get help from someone else like Jason Hart or Kapano. Charlotte and Atlanta were both expansion teams, only Charlotte got the better pickups because they got to go first. Atlanta had to start signing Jason Collier and Kevin Willis, and Kenny Anderson and anyone else left in the free agent pool after Charlotte got to pull a player from every team. MrRant 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2005 Actually it was more of Atlanta trading anyone they could to get cap space and then finding... no one wants to play there.
Ripper 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2005 hell, they only offered Kenyon Martin a contract. When he went to the Nuggets, they just traded everyone for draft picks and said FUCK IT!!

alfdogg 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2005 When I first saw the name "Tony Bobbitt", I thought you guys had picked up the guy who did the commentary on NBA Street.
Kurt Angle Mark 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2005 LAL: Tony Bobbitt, Tierre Brown, Devean George (player option), Brian Grant (player option), Luke Walton PLEEEEEEEASE do it, Brian. Man when I saw that in a recent L.A. Times article I just shook my head and laughed. Grant said that the Lakers are probably not even going to ask him because they know there is no way in hell will he consider not picking up his option. How a man can live with himself knowing he is making 15 million dollars averaging 4 points and 4 rebounds per game. I will never know?
nogoodnick 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2005 Brian Grant deserves $15 mil more than almost any player in the NBA. Hes far from the most talented, but he is by far one of the nicest, classiest players in the league.
