Stephen Joseph Posted April 15, 2005 Report Posted April 15, 2005 Since Some Guy requested it be moved back a week (which I am fine with) but Hoff did not, I'm leaving this poll up until NEXT WEDNESDAY Thanks.
Some Guy Posted April 15, 2005 Report Posted April 15, 2005 3 shows between PPVs isn't enough to build a new angle properly, IMO.
Stephen Joseph Posted April 15, 2005 Author Report Posted April 15, 2005 I am reserving my vote in case there is a tie.
King Cucaracha Posted April 15, 2005 Report Posted April 15, 2005 w/o moving it back, we've got 1 show left until the PPV. We've been making matches quicker than usual, sure. But if it's on the 24th, I'm going to have to organise something quick for this week which'll then give me hardly any decent time to write my PPV match.
Guest Failed Mascot Posted April 15, 2005 Report Posted April 15, 2005 I'm not trying to start trouble with this question, I'm just curious. Since Popick said in the other thread that he doesn't write for the OAOAST anymore and it doesn't even appear as though he reads the shows since there's no feedback ever left by him then why is he posting a PPV? Wouldn't it be smarter to have somebody who knows what's going on and can better determine what the order of the matches should be?
Stephen Joseph Posted April 15, 2005 Author Report Posted April 15, 2005 Tony is involved in a big match at this event and thusly can't organize the PPV. He and I talked and I still read the shows (yes, I suck at feedback) and keep track of what's going on. My creative juices are just drained, and frankly I was tired of the SJ character. So, since Tony asked if I could help out this month, I am. I still intend on returning before AngleSlam, but probably not with the same character. -sjp
Mystery Eskimo Posted April 15, 2005 Report Posted April 15, 2005 Leave the show where it is, otherwise we all have to do an extra week. I'd rather be concentrating on my LA writing.
Guest Failed Mascot Posted April 15, 2005 Report Posted April 15, 2005 My creative juices are just drained, and frankly I was tired of the SJ character. Well then take the character off TV and then repackage him. I suggest turning him into a Hog Farmer from Georgia that has a love for square dancing at the annual County Fairs.

KingPK Posted April 15, 2005 Report Posted April 15, 2005 I voted to keep it the 24th, but I don't really have a problem with either date myself. Some people already have everything all planned out, so moving it back a week would force them to scramble and write something extra. But if you do move it back, everyone could fine-tune what they're building and there wouldn't be a problem shortening the buildup for May's PPV, since we'd have a full month of HDs (4) to build up to that event.

He can do a reverse DDT called "The Slopick Drop". He has to come out to a hardcore rendition of Turkey in the Straw though. Have that band that did the DX theme do it.
Some Guy Posted April 16, 2005 Report Posted April 16, 2005 I don't mean to start trouble and I may have missed something but where was it posted before yesterday that the PPV was 4/24? I was assuming that there would be 4 weeks between shows and planned my angle that way. If it doesn't get changed I'll work around it.
Adam Posted April 16, 2005 Report Posted April 16, 2005 Well, the 24th gives us more of a challenge to build up a good PPV in three weeks. I had an issue with it only being 3, but then Tony and I restructured the build for our match, and it worked out. Another week would be nice, but I think its more of a challenge for all of us to build for a PPV in 3 weeks instead of 4.
Guest Failed Mascot Posted April 16, 2005 Report Posted April 16, 2005 This is what happens when you put that pussy Easter Bunny before our e-fedding.

Stephen Joseph Posted April 18, 2005 Author Report Posted April 18, 2005 Okay, Sunday the 24th is beating the SLOP out of postponing the show a week. If you haven't voted, please do so, but it appears the show will be this Sunday. If you all can have everything in PM'ed to me when I wake up Sunday morning, that would be great. If you want things to happen in a particular point of the show, please let me know.
NYU Posted April 18, 2005 Report Posted April 18, 2005 Hey Popick, while you're here.... Funeral Service for the Italian and 24/7 Titles There is a thread that requires your immediate attention.

But when that's done, I'll have time.
