caboose 0 Report post Posted April 17, 2005 I'm currently putting the finishing touches on my Dissertation which focuses on an argument of whether or not Mythology can be created in a modern society rampant with cynicism. One of the three main areas I discuss is the ability of comic books to achieve a state of myth, for example I have touched upon the similarities of Batman & Robin Hood and Superman & Hercules. Steviekick 0 Report post Posted April 17, 2005 Pretty good. I wrote a similar but less in depth paper when I was in college on the same thing, siting modern mythology.
