A better comparison would be Mark Coleman versus any of those "IKSBF Whatever" kickboxing "champions" from back in the day.

Didn't ISKA change its name to K-1?

Bas Rutton should do a run in a Raw.

I don't know, I just remember hearing all these different acronyms that had lots of s', k' and i' for karate/savate/kickboxing champs in the old days of MMA. Of course, after seeing them perform, I question the legitimacy of what they did.

Now that Tito has signed on TNA, maybe he can work up to Raw eventually?

Once again, wrestler beats kickboxer. An old MMA truth...

Mark Coleman vs Maurice Smith. Mirko Cro Cop vs Coleman/Waterman/Aleks Emilianenko.

Nice try, thanks for playing.

To be fair, Cro Cop and Maurice Smith aren't one dimensional kickboxers. They mixed up some grappling, not in order to utilize but mainly just to escape it. Cro Cop survived on his back as well as avoided the easy to telegraph shots from Coleman.

I mean, these guys are fans anyway. And probably half the size of guys like Venis and Benjamin.

Smith had very little ground training but better cardio. Mirko vs Dos Caras Jr if you won't go for the others.

K-1 is a Japanese company that invited all stand up stylists to compete, ISKA is an American kickboxing company, the International Sports Karate Association.

Is that still around? ISKA I mean

I remember like three guys from UFC 1 were like "Five time world champions" in that or some other simialr acronym, like IKF perhaps, and I remember seeing Kevin Rosier have a stance that looked more like a drunken trucker than a seasoned striiker.

Art Jimmerson probably had the most legitimate striking background of all of them, although Pat Smith KO'ing Andy Hug is pretty impressive. The one glove thing was retarded though.

Is it just me, or whenever a fight breaks out Arn Anderson is there? He's like flippin' Superman, or something.

Too bad Sid wasn't there with some scissors.

*same lame joke, twice in a day.*

That's classic.
