dpac Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 Just saw the sick bump Mysterio took on the stairs on SD, and with the shot Benjerman took from Michaels on Raw it looks like WWE is starting to move forward again with high spots. I am sure as soon as some one gets hurt it will all tame down again. Hope no one gets hurt.
Guest LooneyTune Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 Is there a joke I'm not getting about calling Shelton Benjamin "Benjerman"?
Art Sandusky Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 They had some crazy stuff at the PPV too. That german suplex off the ladder was pretty nuts, as was virtually everything involving Shelton Benjamin and the ring ropes.
Guest LooneyTune Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 Benjamin running up one ladder to clothesline someone off another at WM 21 gets the top rank for best new spot in a Ladder Match.
Scroby Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 That is a good question since we've been seeing a lot more than normally. This could be a good sign for the Crusierweights since maybe we can see them doing a lot more spots.
Black Lushus Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 that "HBK takes an Angle Slam into the post" bump would have been a lot better if they hadn't shown the replay from the opposite angle...reminded me of the HHH chokeslam bump at WM 17...the Shelton ladder clothesline is cool, but is less impressive each time you look at it...now that superkick he took Monday, man, I still say that's sick!
Team Angle Pusher Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 Or Benoit flying through the ropes right into a steel chair by Edge. I thought that was pretty sick although he has done it before. I remember Jericho vs. Benoit from I think 2000 in a Ladder match where Jericho did the same to Benoit

I remember Jericho vs. Benoit from I think 2000 in a Ladder match where Jericho did the same to Benoit Royal Rumble 2001 to be exact, and that was sick. RVD and Kane did the spot on (I think) the 8/18/03 Raw, the same night Kane had RVD in bondage and attempted to light a match on fire.
eiker_ir Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 i think Jericho did the same with RVD at Unforgiven 2001, with RVD taking the shairshot
I like Forums Posted May 7, 2005 Report Posted May 7, 2005 Worse, was when Benoit took the suicide dive into the ladder on RAW when they were building up to the Money In the Bank Match for Mania.

It sounds cynical, but once you get used to that fact, you'll enjoy the few bones they do throw a lot more.
