Most Major Title Reigns?

This is inspired by the thread about US wrestlers working for different federations?

I guess it would be Flair but I'm not sure as to the exact number of belts he has held, this can include Japanese titles aswell, but still only applies to US workers so maybe someone like Vader has got more combined? It would helpful if you could post exactly what titles the people you nominate have held because I'm bloody useless at title histories and can't validate my claims!

Orville Brown might be up there too. He was 11x time NWA Champ.

Austin & Dude Love

Rico & Rikishi

Didn't BookDust have a title reign?

Vern Gagne - 10x AWA World Champion and one of those reigns was for 7 years. The others averaged about 7 months.

which isn't much of an accomplishment when you consider the fact that he, y'know, OWNED THE COMPANY.

I think the funny part about Lawler is that 90% of the titles he's won in his career were in the company he owned.

Yeah, but they had a reign AFTER they liked each other, so I don't think they should count.

Add Jericho & Rock to the list.

Most of the champs after 1996 were playing that role. Heyman loved that storyline.

Hows about Bret Hart/Goldberg in the run up to Starrcade 99

And Eddie/Rey don't get along now, and they've been 'feuding' since before WM

Yeah, but he did draw a hell of a lot of money, so it's somewhat forgivable, unlike others that could be mentioned. ***coughjeffjarrettcough***

Well... it's true. I mean, I quite like Jeff, but to say he's a real draw is ignoring the facts.

Lawler on the other hand used to get 8,000 every week at the Collosium, beat Elvis Presley's run of consecutive sell outs in Memphis etc etc so deserved to be a million time champ or whatever he was.

:(

When it comes to Jeff Jarrett, ignoring the facts is a must for any fan of his.

Well, yeah, but they also still had absolutely nothing in common.
