No concrete information yet, but we've finally got some more Final Fantasy XII shots...

<cut pics>

My eyes bleed from the sheer beauty of it all. More pics over at IGN.

Wow! FMV! Looks like the same quality FMV I saw in FFX. That doesn't really show as much as the Tekken shot.

Nintendo jerking us around about the controller = lame

Until they do, the big question now will be the prices.

I call $360 for the 360, $350 for the PS3, and $200 for the Revolution.

No way in hell is Sony going to release the PS3 without being very close in price to the 360's, whatever it is. Sony'd won the 32-bit war virtually as soon as they announced $300 for the PS1.

Revolution will be more expensive than the `Cube was at launch because it has more built-in features now, most notably the DVD player.

I'm calling it at about $349.99-$449.99, with Microsoft being towards the higher end and Nintendo at the lower end, and Sony coming in somewhere in between.

But the PS3 plays Blu-Ray and HD-DVDs. Regular DVD-playing isn't that expensive to implement these days, I don't think. Sure, 360 has the hard drive, but it's going to be a modest one it seems.

Microsoft being towards the higher end would kill them, I think, unless they start out a little more and drop to coincide with PS3.

E3 2005: More Details On Game Boy Micro

Posted By Alex Williams on 05.17.2005

Play all your existing GameBoy games on something REALLY TINY!

In a bit of some breaking news at Nintendo's pre-E3 conference, Nintendo has revealed their newest version of the GameBoy: the GameBoy Micro.

The unit itself is four inches wide, two inches tall, and weighs exactly 2.8 ounces. The only face buttons are the D-Pad, and A/B buttons. Start and Select have migrated to the bottom of the unit, with L and R still remaining on top.

The unit is able to play all previous GameBoy titles, from original, to Color, to Advance. The unit also comes equipped with an adjustable backlight (a first for the GB series), a rechargable lithium-ion battery, and a headphone jack. It took Nintendo four years to include ALL these features on an Advance-compatible handheld, but they've finally done it!

The GBM is not, however, a next-gen successor to the GameBoy line. It is simply a redesign and improvement of the original Advance hardware.

No price was announced, but we can expect the GameBoy Micro to be released this fall.

Not exciting, but at least this means there probably isn't a portable more powerful than the DS right around the corner from Nintendo.

That's good, as it'll make me want to buy a DS sometime soon.

I haven't had a handheld system since the original Game Boy came in different colors (I had a blue one! And a black one after I lost that one.), and I didn't want to buy a DS if all it meant was that it was going to be inferior to the next GB.

I have a problem with handhelds at times, since I don't get out much, and when I do, I'm not really somewhere where I can be playing video games or something. The Game Boy Micro seems kinda cool though, something you'll actually be able to fit into your pocket. It's not much bigger than a large cell phone, if the description is accurate.

The name "Twilight Princess" is going to suck the cool factor right out of the new Zelda.

Yep.

Link being able to transform into a werewolf = nintendo jumping the shark on the Zelda franchise..

sure..

As far as prices, I dont believe it, but someone in the Endgadget discussion said that EBgames was taking preorders for the XBox 360...for $780.

Im guessing thats probably about $300 more than it will cost, but I could see the 360 seeling for $499 with a price cut to $399 (or $360?) when the PS3 comes out a year later. The PS3 will probably run $399 too. IF this is the case, I could see the Revolution running $249-$299.

And please kill me, Im watching G4's E3 coverage. PLEASE KILL ME.

It's weird seeing Morgan Webb and the other x-play idiot not being totally sarcastic and condescending and actually acting sincere... no, wait, there it is to end the segment. I spoke too soon.

Im glad Im not the only one who had a problem with Velocitygurl.

I was watching that whole presentation and thinking "If velocitygurl doesn't even play Tony Hawk, then..

A)Why would she have the game to start with unless she bought it and hated it.

B)Why would she want to spend time making stuff for a game she doesn't play?

C)Who would want the stuff she creates?

and they came out and asked my same questions..

Christ almighty, Morgan looks hotter than ever. And so does this new Elder Scrolls game. I had seen pics in Game Informer a while back, but in motion, it's even better.

I really hope they have some sort of playable Xbox 360 game(s) set up so I can try the system out within the next few days.
