DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted July 25, 2005 Jordan and JBL kinda f'd me over as did Taker (but I saw that one coming). The crappy part was not only did Taker win where a week ago I originally assumed he would be losing he hit God knows how many finishers on everyone involved. However, Melina and Heidenreich may have saved me this week. Heidenreich scored well on SmackDown! and I imagine winning the tag titles will get him some good points too, so I was right in making that call. Melina made THREE appearances, which I believe is 15 points since it's PPV, followed by being in a match, a specialty match, and winning it. Come to think of it, while Batista lost 4 points for being DQd and didn't get any match win points, he was in the last match, he still retained his title, hit a few finishers, wasn't pinned by the Clothesline from Hell (no ref, not sure if that counts as Finisher Escape), and hit multiple object shots post match, so he may have worked out regardless. That was my deciding factor in picking Kane instead of Edge for this week. I did ok (Carlito/Edge/Angle/Shelton... all of them lost in Specialty matches except Carlito, but guest ref is not recognized as a specialty match). For whatever reason I picked Nitro and Mercury for this week along with Simon Dean and Benoit for my SmackDown side. Can't say that paying off much but we'll see. So far I have Eugene and Cena for week 8 and then a tentative roster I may change if other things are announced (I think it's something like, Eugene/Cena/Angle/Edge for Raw and MNM/Animal for SmackDown! with a 4th guy I can't remember. I thought the deadline was 8pm central? maybe not? It usually goes to the current week when you click Buy/Sell. It didn't this time and I'm paying the price. edit: nope, now i see that the deadline is 7pm Eastern. So i missed it by a few minutes. I'm such a fag!
