benoit4hor Posted June 1, 2005 Report Posted June 1, 2005 That looks like a must buy. Not perfect, but very nice.
Matt Young Posted June 2, 2005 Report Posted June 2, 2005 Definitely. The Road Warriors/Legion of Doom were my favorite tag team growing up, and are at least in my all time top 5 to this day. If only I still had my foam spiked LOD shoulderpads...
franchise632 Posted June 2, 2005 Report Posted June 2, 2005 Looks like another sure fire buy. As always a few things that could have beent here that arent and a few things that arent that great but well worth picking up.
GreatWhiteNope Posted June 2, 2005 Report Posted June 2, 2005 DDD has the preorder for $13.48 with free shipping: http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/dvd.cfm?itemID=WWE093884
Jericholic82 Posted June 2, 2005 Report Posted June 2, 2005 Wasn't there already a topic about this 2 months ago? It listed the same macthes too. anyhow yea it looks good enough to buy. I'll probably order at DDD since it's much cheaper.
DrVenkman PhD Posted June 2, 2005 Report Posted June 2, 2005 Wasn't there already a topic about this 2 months ago? It listed the same macthes too. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's what I thought too but nobody else said anything off the bat so I just kept my mouth shut or whatever you would label the finger to keyboard equivalent of keeping a mouth shut... keeping your fingers locked?

Sorry to be a whistle blower. I was just wondering if they were any changes to the matches since the last topic.
Just call me Dan Posted June 2, 2005 Report Posted June 2, 2005 Although the match was nothing special, is anyone else just a bit disappointed that thier 2003 match and surprise one time appearance on Raw with RVD/Kane got left off?
St. Gabe Posted June 2, 2005 Report Posted June 2, 2005 I can't wait for this DVD, growing up close to Chicago I loved watching them because they were like the hometown heroes. Here's hoping they get HOF recognition in Chi-Town this year, I cant wait.
Guest news_gimmick Posted June 2, 2005 Report Posted June 2, 2005 This will be mine. Oh yes, it will.
CheesalaIsGood Posted June 2, 2005 Report Posted June 2, 2005 (edited) Looks like a good buy to me. Is that match with the Midnights the one where they won the NWA Tag Titles? The one that isn't a scaffold match, I mean. Edited June 2, 2005 by CheesalaIsGood

It's definitly a match everyone should see at least once, even if it's not very good.
Rendclaw Posted June 2, 2005 Report Posted June 2, 2005 I'm ordering it as we speak. Hands down, the Road Warriors were my favorite tag team.
CanadianChris Posted June 2, 2005 Report Posted June 2, 2005 About the only thing I could think of to add would have been their WWF re-debut in 1997 at the Manhatten Center on the ECW RAW. The pop they got was just ungodly. Looks like a keeper otherwise, though.

Already pre-ordered on DDDVD two weeks ago.
Guest Arnold_OldSchool Posted June 2, 2005 Report Posted June 2, 2005 I want to see the vignette where the Roadies crash to earth on a UFO, then eat a cow hide raw.... something like that....early 80's
humongous2002 Posted June 2, 2005 Report Posted June 2, 2005 I can't wait for The Ultimate British Bulldogs/Steiners dvds.
DrVenkman PhD Posted June 2, 2005 Report Posted June 2, 2005 According to the reviewer whose name must not be spoken, the DVD was seen available in a HMV store in Edmonton.
Jericholic82 Posted June 3, 2005 Report Posted June 3, 2005 According to the reviewer whose name must not be spoken, the DVD was seen available in a HMV store in Edmonton. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> LMAO, you mean the guy who at times might have been descirbed as both "useless" and a "moron"? anyhow I too thought their final RAW match might have been cool to see on there, as it was their last match in WWE ever. But's it's cool that they have AWA footage so we can have the full experience of the LOD's carreer. actually I am more shocked that the uncensored 96 chicago streetfight vs Sting and Booker T isn't on here, if only for the ending where Lex Luger is seen posing in front of a mirror, gets knocked into by one of the warriors, then attacks him for ruing his posing moment.
