Did Peter Jackson lose 100 pounds?

USA is airing the AFI Tribute to George Lucas tonight. Word out of the taping is that when Peter Jackson appeared in a filmed tribute, he looked like he had lost 100 pounds and shaved off his beard. I figured if he'd had stomach stapled we would have heard about it.

 

I guess we'll find out.

I've known about Peter's weight loss since last September when I watched the first production diary for King Kong on Kong Is King.net. He was halfway there, and by Christmas break, he had achieved his goal. He is skinny now and looks much, much healthier.

 

Anyway, I think I'll skip this. It's pretty much the same shit Lucas has talked about on the DVDs, etc. I'm in full Batman mode now, and have even considered changing my Nute Gunray avi to something Batman-like.

yeah i saw peter jackson when he cameo'd in one of Singer's Superman video diaries, it was pretty shocking.

 

I know people gave him flack for being this fat dude... but the thin PJ is just... i dont know, creepy and ugh. Some people really are better looking fat (anybody see star jones try to lose some weight once?), just cuz it gives PJ the sort of jolly santa-hobbit vibe which is pretty likeable to most people.
