SuperJerk Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 Averaging a mild $3,621 over three days, the Lindsay Lohan film has taken in $17.8M since its Wednesday debut. The Friday-to-Sunday performance marks the worst opening ever for a film launching in over 3,500 theaters. I heard that "The Perfect Man" had the worst non-holiday 3 day opening amongst theaters that only sell 1 sizes of nachos instead of 2.
Guest SP-1 Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 If it's turning a profit from the world wide figures, then my point still stands. Thanks for passing that along, JMA.

Thanks for passing that along, JMA. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No problem. I have a feeling that it'll soon make its money back domestically as well (it only needs to make a few more million to do so).

Dandy Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 Batman Begins also had a $100 million marketing campaign, so technically it hasn't turned a profit yet. However, counting the profit it will still be making in theaters and overseas, DVD sales/rentals, video game sales/rentals, merchandise, and toys, I'd say it is a safe bet that it will turn profit.

I haven't seen that on any movie site.
Guest JMA Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 It's from the reliable imdb.com. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't see it in the Business Data section. Is it somewhere else?
Guest Askewniverse Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 It's near the bottom of the Trivia section.
