ChrisMWaters Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 Coach mentioned Edge setting JR on fire. And Kane sits right up Zombie Like.
Downhome Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 I skipped this PPV, so hopefully it wont be good.
Guest Jim Ross Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 .. and what are the chances of Edge using his money in the bank shot immediately after HIAC tonight?
SuperJerk Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 Coach mentioned Edge setting JR on fire. And Kane sits right up Zombie Like. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Did he actually say Edge, or did you mean Kane?
AndrewTS Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 Coach mentioned Kane setting JR on fire. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have that on tape. I need to pull that out. Great stuff.
Exslade ZX Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 .. and what are the chances of Edge using his money in the bank shot immediately after HIAC tonight? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He's NOT gonna use the MITB shot for a quick 'beat the champ after his match' match, that I'd bet on.
MikeJordan23 Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 Kane wins with chokeslam. Edge tried to hit KAne with briefcase, missed and hit Snitsky and walked into the slam.
ChrisMWaters Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 Kane got the chokeslam win after Edge missed the shot with the briefcase.
Guest Fishyswa Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 If there's no Matt and no set up for Edge and Lita afterward, I'm thinking he may be using the MITB shot sooner than later.
Guest *KNK* Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 So far this ppv isn't worth the money. The next three matches better deliver
MikeJordan23 Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 HBK vs. Angle next There's only this and the two title matches left, correct?
Guest Jim Ross Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 .. and what are the chances of Edge using his money in the bank shot immediately after HIAC tonight? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He's NOT gonna use the MITB shot for a quick 'beat the champ after his match' match, that I'd bet on. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Perhaps im expecting too much from WWF Logic.. But i know if i had the shot, and just saw two people beating the hell out of each other inside 'a vile structure' I know I would use it.
Guest Jim Ross Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 Shawn v Angle next... People praised the ECW PPV matches and they had no build up, lets see if people are as forgiving here
ChrisMWaters Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 Why do they not mention Angle's hometown and weight anymore? They just call him the Gold Medal Winner and former WWE Champ. And here comes "CaveMan HBK"
SuperJerk Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 So far this ppv isn't worth the money. The next three matches better deliver <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Kurt Angle and Shawn Michaels are the WWE's version of Domino's Pizza. They ALWAYS deliver.
ChrisMWaters Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 While Michaels was applauding the crowd, Angle was doing a mini version of the Brock Happy Dance.
ChrisMWaters Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 DAYUM! German Suplex by Angle onto Michaels...ONTO THE SPANISH ANNOUNCER'S TABLE!
CanadianChick Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 Kurt Angle and Shawn Michaels are the WWE's version of Domino's Pizza. They ALWAYS deliver. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ... Sorry, but that was an awful analogy.
ChrisMWaters Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 Sweet! Kurt busted a Powerbomb into the Turnbuckle!
Guest Jim Ross Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 Looks like Angle is working on the neck/back to set up the ankle lock again
SuperJerk Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 Kurt Angle and Shawn Michaels are the WWE's version of Domino's Pizza. They ALWAYS deliver. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ... Sorry, but that was an awful analogy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sometimes you think of something shitty to say, and you know that its shitty, but you post it anyways just so you don't have to suffer its shittiness alone.
Guest Fishyswa Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 KNK why are you even here? You slag off the show before it's on, then say "what the hell I'll buy it", and then you slag it off some more. Are you just wasting 30 dollars so you can spend the night here telling us all how shitty it is?
Exslade ZX Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 so boring. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Put simple, you shouldn't have ordered the PPV. Hell, you were complaining before it even started, what would possess you to buy it? People complain about WWE's stories, and builds, etc. but evidently they're doing something right as they're getting people that don't even want to get the ppv to watch it.
naiwf Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 Looks like Angle is working on the neck/back to set up the ankle lock again <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's WWE psychology. Much like HBK can have his back worked over for 30 straight minutes, then nip up, hit a super kick, get a pin, and walk off with only mild discomfort, but a Pedigree can put him down for what seems like an eternity.

I'll believe it when I see it. Hang on, Ive seen it numerous times before! EDIT: Seriously, isnt it time Angle was given a submission move that focuses on the back/neck considering thats what his moveset tends to focus on?
Aero Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 Looks like Angle is working on the neck/back to set up the ankle lock again <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I really don't understand why people think it's absolutely necessary for Angle to work the ankle all the time. From when Shamrock did it up to this very day, most fans are trained to believe that the Ankle lock is one of the most painful submissions. Yes, it would be good to work the ankle from time to time, but Angle also has the Angle Slam. While it barely seems to ever finish matches anymore, at least on the first try, I think it's smart strategy to target both parts of the body. If the back work and Angle Slam fail, there's always the Ankle lock, and vice versa.

Ex. a football player takes hit after hit during and game, and just gets right back up, and then happens to take one hard blow to the head, and all of a sudden he's out like that. What kind of shit is that?? >_> Edit- And while yes, I'm being a cynic, that wasn't entirely sarcasm. It literally is understandable. It happens a lot, where someone gets hit a lot, and it doesn't seem to effect them, but one certain hit, can take them out like that. (That's what a finsihers supposed to be anyway right?)
