USC Wuz Robbed! Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 I seem to recall a certain HTQ and Downhome that told me, "Hogan can't do the legdrop anymore"..... what happened tonight, guys?
Slickster Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 Well, evidently they were mistaken. It seemed to me that he did it a bit more gingerly than usual, but maybe that was just because i was expecting a botch of Nash-level proportions.
DrVenkman PhD Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 The statement was true (as in "assumed by Meltzer") in May as he certainly would have done the legdrop against the "Kuwaiti-Americans" (his name for them on the Backlash DVD) if he was able to.
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 I said he couldn't do the legdrop in April. He couldn't then, because he didn't do it. If he could have done it, he would have. As for doing it again this time around, I said I didn't think he could do it. Never actually said he couldn't do it this time around. But feel free to continue to make up statements and attribute them to me.

Ive only watched half of RAW and got the strong feeling that Hogan was returning, but I thought that this may have been a thread on the legitimacy of the legdrop as a finisher. Thanks.
Dandy Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 Well, if you notice, he landed almost solely on his left leg/hip (the good one), and rolled immediately to that side to prevent almost any impact at all to the right one (bad one).
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted June 28, 2005 Author Report Posted June 28, 2005 He couldn't do the legdrop in April because of his hip, and I don't think the situation has changed. Yeah I sure made it up. This is basically saying he, in your opinion, can't do it anymore.
Guest JerichosHi-Lite Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 I don't honestly reckon Hogan can do it anymore. Obviously I've no proof but he does it a lot more carefully than he used to and sometimes he puts his hand down on the canvas before he actually hits the mat. That, and the fact that he's half-a-century old
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted June 28, 2005 Author Report Posted June 28, 2005 He still drops a leg. That's a legdrop. He did it last night. Hence he does it. He might not do it as frequently, but he did it.

I don't know how you read that to mean I was saying he couldn't do the legdrop anymore at all, but maybe further study of grammar will help with this problem you seem to have.

Yet you just had to make yourself appear better than anyone who disputes your claims. This is my problem with you, but you know what, whatever man, keep the superiority complex up. It really works for ya.
DrVenkman PhD Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 This is all great fodder for another excellent blog entry on Striaght Shootin
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 This is all great fodder for another excellent blog entry on Striaght Shootin <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That would mean I'd have to read what Porter replied with, and I've put her/him on ignore because I'm allergic to drivel. But don't let that put you off of reading my Blog, because it's still going to be full of sweet Mock.
WrestlingFan4Ever Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 Guys, don't sweat the small stuff.....
Dandy Posted June 29, 2005 Report Posted June 29, 2005 Guys, don't sweat the small stuff..... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Or as my dad always says: Don't sweat the petty stuff, and don't pet the sweaty stuff.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted June 29, 2005 Author Report Posted June 29, 2005 You know what, HTQ? I apologize. It was silly of me to post that.
