It's the natural progression for a company when they have both a handheld and a console out there - since more people are likely to own one and not both, they're putting a prize in there for the people who own both. The PSP version will probably have some PS2 unlockables as well.

The main focus for this game is try and bring a more realistic and authentic gameplay to the series and the many new features to be included in the game focus on that. The characters have all been digitally scanned to look more realistic and 40% of all the moves available have been reanimated. A new Momentum bar has also been introduced, replacing the old Clean/Dirty and SmackDown! meters, which will determine the flow of the match. I'm thinking this will be another year that I'll have to pass on a new Smackdown game if Yukes is just going to fuck up by not giving certain wrestlers their entrance attires, correct finishers, and not fixing all the programming glitches. Edit: I read on the IGN board that the pages for Angle and Benjamin were apparently rushed and had some of Orlando Jordan's information on them, which might explain the "Black Out" listed as both of Angle's finishers.

It seems that the main effect of stamina depletion is your wrestler passing wind (complete with sound effect) and staggering for about half a second. 1a. If this effect kicks in every time I hit a finisher while I'm worn down, I will be an unhappy man. "And he hits it! The Pedigree! ..but give him a second to cover." My expectations for this game have been even further lowered.

I mean I have seen pretty much every entrance and match videos. usually I wait until I get the game and see it for the first time. damn my hi speed connection having ass.
