Although it was put in the Jim Cornette thread, he has been added to the list of releases. I find it funny that Marc Lloyd was released but they haven't replaced his voice on WWE.com when you click on the Video of the day.

They also still have him doing Live Event News in Canada thanks to the magic of pre-tapes.

I was going to start a new thread for this but figured it would just bring up more discussion about the recently released.

John Laurinaitis' Contract

For John Laurinaitis, they have his contract at $350,000 per year, plus a $500,000 signing bonus.  Other perks include: 20K Shares Stock Options, a 2 BR Furnished Apartment for up to a year, All expenses paid for moving and buying a house and 1 year's severance.

Wow, Johnny Ace sure did get a sweet deal.  I looked it up and it is listed as a "Sign-on Bonus" in his employment letter.  It states, "$500,000 less applicable deductions payable on the first pay date following 30 days of employment. If you voluntarily terminate employment with WWE or are terminated by WWE for cause within one year of your date of hire, you must reimburse WWE 100% of your sign-on bonus. Reimbursement is due within 10 days following last day of employment."  That is in addition to his $350,000 a year salary.  He also started out with three weeks paid vacation.  You can read the whole filing by clicking here.
