MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2005 LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) Pauly Shore is so confident that his new TBS series will make you laugh, he's offering a money-back guarantee on it. Normally, the joke here would be that you wouldn't get any money, since you don't really pay to watch a TV show (okay, maybe watching a half-hour on TBS translates to a penny or two of your monthly cable bill, but you get the idea). But Shore is offering honest-to-goodness legal tender for your time if you don't chuckle at "Minding the Store," which debuts Sunday, July 17. .... Viewers who don't laugh at the premiere can send a request that details why they didn't like the show to TBS, and they'll receive a check for $1. The offer runs through Aug. 15 or until the network receives 250,000 requests, whichever comes first. (Details are at TBS.com.) I already have my submission ready to go.. devo 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2005 A dollar? Fuck that. The stamp and envelope and paper cost fifty cents. It's a clever way to get people to watch, though, I'll give 'em that.
Guest Brian Report post Posted July 8, 2005 If they let me do things through e-mail, I might consider it. But sitting through that much Shore is a stretch.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted July 8, 2005 Hey this is great. Now Pauly Shore will find out for himself how terrible everyone else thinks he is, and go commit suicide or something.
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2005 Fuck that, Pauly Shore isn't given nearly enough credit. Dude's a riot.
The Mandarin 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2005 I would consider watching his show if Pauly Shore were to first give me $1 for all the times his humour failed on me in the past. It would be pretty comfortable watching his show on my new widescreen HDTV from my hot tub.

Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2005 Any man that is willing to make an entire movie where it's 90 minutes of people brutally saying he's worthless (Pauly Short Is Dead) is fine in my book.
Slayer 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2005 He's still better than Carrot-top

King Kamala 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2005 Plucking my pubic hairs one by one with a tweezer would be funnier than Carrot Top.
Crimson Platypus 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2005 Dude I'm not plucking your pubic hairs with a tweezer, that's nasty. I think I'd actually prefer Carrot Top.

Guest Fishyswa Report post Posted July 8, 2005 I'll be watching because I think it's a great idea for a show, and I still feel he was just another victim of the 90's.
King Kamala 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2005 Back to Pauly Shore, I don't know, he's actually hit or miss with me. Granted 90% of the time, its miss. But I've chuckled a few times at him. I might check out the show once.
Crimson Platypus 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2005 To me Pauly is good in small doses. He'd be good as a supporting funny guy in a movie or TV show, but he is just not good enough to carry an entire show or movie
