Adam Posted July 16, 2005 Report Posted July 16, 2005 OK, considering I havent seen his name mentioned anywhere, I'll PM CWM about Axel vs. CWM for the belt at LTP. If anyone wants in to make it a Triple Threat, speak now or forever hold your peace.
Tony149 Posted July 16, 2005 Report Posted July 16, 2005 (edited) OK, considering I havent seen his name mentioned anywhere, I'll PM CWM about Axel vs. CWM for the belt at LTP. If anyone wants in to make it a Triple Threat, speak now or forever hold your peace. I speakth! Tony Brannigan vs. CWM vs. Axel for the World Heavyweight Championship at License to Pin. It would work, with the whole CWM/Brannigan storyline from a month back where I didn't like the fact he got involved in my match. Now that the Elite is on the same page again it's all good as long as the title comes back home. Of course I'd expect CWM to help me beatdown Axel and get the win, only for us to start fighting when CWM begins going to work for himself. Edited July 16, 2005 by Tony149
Adam Posted July 16, 2005 Report Posted July 16, 2005 As do I. Triple it is. I shall work both men into the Axel-Gunner match this week.
Adam Posted July 16, 2005 Report Posted July 16, 2005 ...or I could make it a 4 Way. Might add an interesting dynamic. I dont know what everyone thinks.
Zack Malibu Posted July 16, 2005 Author Report Posted July 16, 2005 PK, if you want to do a segment, that's fine with me. It would be a nice follow up to what Drek said about all the people recruited to HeldDOWN~! back in the day, basically getting the point across that not all of you feel the same way he does.
NYU Posted July 16, 2005 Report Posted July 16, 2005 *is shut out in the cold* I suppose I should look for an opponent too then....
Hoff Posted July 16, 2005 Report Posted July 16, 2005 For the buyrate's sake, maybe you should just stay off of this one. x 1000
Adam Posted July 17, 2005 Report Posted July 17, 2005 That was good, but not as good as 0-0-0-0. Hell, throw Drek in there as well. Axel vs. CWM vs. Tony Brannigan vs. Drek Stone. I know you want to stay strong, DDDrek, so I just won't pin you... I'll make you tap
Adam Posted July 22, 2005 Report Posted July 22, 2005 So, what will the title match be? Axel vs. CWM vs. Tony Branngian vs. Drek Stone? Anyone else not have a match? Because I'll throw Gunner and another in there and make it a six pack challenge, hell, King of the Mountain, Six Man Hell in a Cell, Elimination Chamber, Gauntlet match, Elimination Match, Scramble Cage match, Run for the Gold match, Ladder match, could be anything! Someone make a suggestion~!
Zack Malibu Posted July 22, 2005 Author Report Posted July 22, 2005 You shouldn't do a stip match with a week buildup dude. Just go with a four way.
KingPK Posted July 22, 2005 Report Posted July 22, 2005 Besides, the Ultimate X match is kind of the gimmick match for LTP already. I know, I'm announcing it a week before the PPV as well. EDIT: Hey, 6000 posts. Only took about three and a half years to get there, too.
Zack Malibu Posted July 22, 2005 Author Report Posted July 22, 2005 Damn, you were here a few weeks before me, and I have twice the posts as you.
Stephen Joseph Posted July 22, 2005 Report Posted July 22, 2005 I'd love a title shot, but I have some very HEAVY competition at LTP that I'm going to have to MOOve out of my way
KingPK Posted July 22, 2005 Report Posted July 22, 2005 Damn, you were here a few weeks before me, and I have twice the posts as you. Well, every single of my posts drip with quality. An example from a thread about finishers: It varies, obviously it should be the last move of a match 99.999% of the time (case in point: Hogan's leg drop and the Pedigree) and should be sold like the opponent is being put in extreme pain (like the Sharpshooter), or puts them flat on their back (The Stunner). Unpredictability helps with some, but in the case of moves like the 619, or the People's Elbow, it's mostly about the setup (ESPECIALLY in the case of the Elbow) and who's doing it. A guy like HHH would be laughed out of the building if he tried to put that much into a simple elbow drop. One finisher I don't like is Jericho's current version of the Walls of Jericho, which is essentially a crappy Boston Crab. When he first came into the WWF, he used the Liontamer, which actually looks like it hurts with Jericho's knee in the guy's back bending him more on an upward angle. Contrast that to a typical post from Zack: Did you just say you wanted to be anal wart's on a gay person's ass? I kid, of course. That's one of Zack's BETTER posts.
