Tina Fey is not Hillary Clinton's staff, and it was a term of endearment in its context, tantamount to if "Barack Obama's Saturday Night Live staff" said "Obama is our nigga!"

NOBODY IS SPEAKING IN ABSOLUTES. That's what you're not getting here. I saw no "only" in what I quoted. Did you? Or did you put it there? You cannot deny that the "novelty factor" plays no part in media coverage or "support of The Movement," which is what she's trying to say. The Obama side of the media is out of line in calling for Ferraro's resignation from the Clinton campaign. There's nothing there that warrants her stepping down.

She hasn't discredited all of his successes, she's just saying that being black has certainly helped him reach the position he's in, which is far ahead of his opposition with the adoration of the press behind him.
