Depends on if they deem acting suspicious to be probable cause.

I was irritable and cranky yesterday, so no, just pulling someone over isn't probable cause. I was saying something without doing the legwork and giving an explanation.

It's like the reason for your post is the same reason the cops be doing this.

It's kinda sad that people actually think it's cool for Michigan voting to count only Hillary's votes. Far more pathetic is that a candidate for the presidency actually deems this legitimate. I'm not sure that anything more stupid has come out of this entire election.

If they have anther debate, Obama needs to firmly hit Clinton the how disingenuous she is on the entire Florida/MIchigan issue. This is a person signed on to not count Florida/Michigan and is now claiming that their votes count for her.

Outside of 1968, has the Democratic Party ever completely botched an issue like the whole Michigan/Florida situation?

War in Iraq, circa 2002-2003, imho.

and to think i was starting to feel okay about this race now with both candidates being a little conciliatory once PA was decided and hillary's newfound grassroots funding abilities...this shit is just dumb on so many levels.

among other things, she's saying that in a state where voters are not given the choice between her and obama, democrats choose hillary. i hope she goes on tv soon to say, "well, if you don't count the votes for obama, i've won every single state so far! i've swept the democratic primary like no other candidate before!"

what makes me sad is that the big question mark over michigan & florida is a legitimate issue that should be discussed in terms of electability, but since she apparently can't make a proper argument like an adult, she needs to go sit at the kids table.

I see that Rev Wright is still a big television star. My memory's a bit fuzzy, did the Liberal Media go over Robertson/Falwell's nearly identical remarks on 9/11 and their relationship to George Bush Jr this deeply, for this long?

Guest blame that goot.

Does Jon Stewart still do a comedy show or does he just air 22 minutes of Obama fawning in front of his adoring fans?

He has a point, it just isn't very funny. I think Keith Olbermann already did it. The Daily Show is little more than Countdown with a studio audience, anyway.

The Daily Show is still pretty funny on occasion when it isn't talking about the election. Hell, McCain's appearances on the show have always been good.

`Course, the difference between the Daily Show and Countdown is that Daily Show is not meant to be serious or objective in the slightest (although they do mock Obama on occasion, even on the show from this past Monday) because everyone knows it's a comedy show, and that the main target audience is young liberals. Countdown passes itself off as some sort of news analysis show and it ends up being little more than a counterpoint to O'Reilly.

it's funny to look online at past episodes and see how much this show has aged stewart. but it's much funnier (in an uncomfortable way) to watch olbermann's dripping, pleading earnestness ooze out of the screen.

also, apparently there's a dispute over whether clinton won by double digits or not, depending on what decimal place you start rounding at--her victory stands now at something like just under 9.5%.

Yes, of course. Just like the rest of the Liberal Media, it is nothing but Obama fawning 24/7 (I have never once seen Obama disparaged on the news and certainly they haven't played any ridiculous video clips loosely related to him on a month-long loop) and absolutely nothing but insults for the courageous and brutally honest Hillary Clinton.

Taken from cnn.com along with a lot of other blah-blah stuff I didn't want to copy and paste because it's all shit we already know.

Meanwhile, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-California, made it clear Thursday that she thinks Clinton and Obama shouldn't run on a joint ticket this fall.

"I don't think it's a good idea," she said on "Larry King Live." "First of all, the candidate, whoever he or she may be, should choose his or her own vice presidential candidate. I think that's appropriate. That's where you would see the comfort level, not only how to run but how to govern the country.

"And there's plenty of talent to go around to draw upon for a good, strong ticket. I'm not one of those who thinks that that's a good ticket."

That is such a mistake. This race has gone on so long that it's to the point that the two of them NEED to be on the same ticket, whether it's Obama/Clinton or Clinton/Obama. Supporters of both sides have become so involved in their candidate that they're going to be very bitter if they get shut out of the presidential election.

Sure, they might not vote McCain -- but many of them just won't vote at all. And that will be fatal to the Democratic party. The party is split in half at this point and the only way to unite it is to put Clinton and Obama on the same ticket for November. McCain is facing some hostility in the Republican party himself but they never let the race get to the point where the voters truly started bickering with one another with an intensity like this. More or less, the party is united behind McCain, even if pundits like Ann Coulter still don't support him. Once the general election hits, if the Democratic party is divided, they WILL NOT win.

Pelosi needs to think this through before she continues to open her big mouth. The best thing for Clinton AND Obama now is to strike some kind of backroom deal where both of them will end up on the ticket. And yes, yes, it's too difficult because with his lead, Obama should be the presidential candidate and Hillary should be the vice-president, which she clearly doesn't want to agree to. But a resolution HAS to be reached. It's become way too messy now to simply leave one of them out in the cold, considering neither will reach the 2,025 delegate mark.

No.

She will kill him for the presidency.

Too obvious. Anything happens to him, and everyone will know it was her. I think she's smart enough to realise that, and just wait 8 years for her turn.

Are we seriously discussing the viability of a Hillary Clinton-planned assassination?

If the last few months have proved anything, it's that Hillary will do anything to be president.

But, like I said, I don't think she would actually try and off Obama if she was VP.

Okay, let's just accept for one moment the laughable idea that HilRod would be willing to whack Barack. If she were willing to do it, why hasn't she done it already? After all, her shot of winning the primary is damn near nothing as long as Obama's around.

Yeah because Democrats came up with the idea of the Clintons having all their political enemies murdered.
