Guest C*Z*E*C*H Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 Pretty ironic that we're on pg. 338 of this never-ending mega-thread. I'm on 203 or something. Speaking of, all good things must come to an end, and let's think about winding this one down and sending it to its final resting place at the bottom of the board. We can start a new Obama party thread.
PILLS! PILLS! PILLS! Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 I haven't seen black people this happy since OJ was acquitted Classy.
Guest C*Z*E*C*H Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 I haven't seen black people this happy since OJ was acquitted Classy. It's kinda true, though. Our KOAB just lost his title.
Gary Floyd Posted November 5, 2008 Author Report Posted November 5, 2008 I haven't seen black people this happy since OJ was acquitted Classy. It's kinda true, though. Our KOAB just lost his title. So, is he now POAB?
Guest C*Z*E*C*H Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 He's been busted down to Duke of Smarkington.

Gary Floyd Posted November 5, 2008 Author Report Posted November 5, 2008 I still say we put this thread in classics.
The Niggardly King Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 He's been busted down to Duke of Smarkington. Crown Jester of Negrodom
Guest C*Z*E*C*H Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 It's either going to Classics or Graphics & Testing Grounds. I haven't decided yet. There's also the possibility that I send it to the Brandon Truitt folder.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 I think it should keep going for 2012. Romney's gonna kick Obama's ass in 4 years.
Prophet of Mike Zagurski Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 I wonder what Gore is doing. Hunting ManBearPig.

There's also the possibility that I send it to the Brandon Truitt folder. Brandon Truitt folder. (Because he is teke184 at TSM and The Pit and is a conservative who predicted 291 electoral votes for McCain)
The Niggardly King Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 I think it should keep going for 2012. Romney's gonna kick Obama's ass in 4 years. Dude, Huckabee/Rudy is the ticket.
bob_barron Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 Rudy? No. Palin, Romney, Huckabee and Jindal will all probably run. I could see Romney getting the nod just to get the OMG TRUE CONSERVATIVE, but he'll get destroyed
DMann2003 Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 That was a real beautiful speech, to great speeches by two fine men tonight.
CBright7831 Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 Is it bad to say that I, a 22 year old male, am on the brink on tears at the moment?
Prophet of Mike Zagurski Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 I've just been thinking, when Martin Luther King had his "I have a dream" speech, did he ever dream of this?
Guest C*Z*E*C*H Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 Well, folks, it's been been emotional. We've had some good times, bad times, some misfires, some crazy predictions that turned out to be true, we did it all here, in what may be, due to its location, length, and breadth, one of the worst threads this board has ever seen. But the end result, after all these years, all those Gary Floyd posts, all that Y2Jerk misogyny rooted in losing his job for hitting on a teacher, all that Evan Bayh fawning from that one Hoosier doofus, is that we changed the country and the world's perception of us, and that's fine by me. We've all changed from start to finish here: I supported just about every nominee, viable and non-viable, that wasn't the guy that everybody else liked. Marvin went from being a mopey doofus who voted Nader to a raging product of conservative talk radio and loneliness. Snuffbox went from libertarian to statist. Even the mighty Dobbs fell in line! With a diverse group such as our board, this is about as much solidarity as I've ever seen the community exhibit on, well, anything, really. This was quite the monster we created, and the elation that the rest of you surely feel doesn't deserve to be confined to this pile of shit. The campaign's over, now let's start anew. This thread will be closed and reassigned to the Brandon Truitt folder for your archival reading pleasure. Have an excellent Wednesday, and congratulations on picking a winner.
Anakin Flair Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 I've just been thinking, when Martin Luther King had his "I have a dream" speech, did he ever dream of this? I wonder what King's son is thinking tonight?
foleyfanforever88 Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 This shit sucks. That's all I have to say. Not as bad as the Cowboys secondary.... Ouch. Sad, but true. lol

hyperchord24 Posted November 5, 2008 Report Posted November 5, 2008 I can't stop crying. This is such a historic day for the african american community. With all the racism that I see today, the progress that we've made in the election is astounding. Why even at my in-laws, I have to endure a word that that literally translates to "eggplant" from arabic in reference to african americans (and these are 30-somthings, not the older group you might expect). If they refer to Obama a ban-jan I think I might lose it.
