haws bah gawd 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2005 I hope that at some point we get to see Sid in TNA. It's good to see that he's aparently able to wrestle again after suffering that sick leg break in early 2001. I've never had a problem with the guy. I always marked for his chokeslam and powerbomb. Nothing beats the one-handed chokeslam that he splattered HHH all over the mat with on RAW in mid-1996 WWF. I just HATED the look he went with in WCW in late 2000/early 2001. The long black tights with denim shorts on top looked really lame. Bring back the singlet that he wore in the late 80's, and we're in business. As far as his in-ring ability, I've never been too offended by it. Sure he doesn't move around the ring as well as other big men like Brock, Batista, or even Abyss. He just always had this commanding ring presense about him, and looked like he could destroy you. I think it's just best that if he absolutely has to get mic time, that its pre-recorded. Guest nokia Report post Posted August 24, 2005 from pwinsider.com "Kevin Nash is on his way back to TNA, as he's prominently featured on the poster for the 10/23 Bound for Glory PPV. Nash had been in China filming the feature film adaption of video game "DOA: Dead or Alive." " link; http://www.wrestlemag.com/news/index.php?p=
Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2005 I like Nash, and he seems to be into it more "for the hell of it" these days than wanting to play politics and be on the absolute top. I just hope he's thrown into things with 3LK or something rather than screw up the main event.
Guest MadManOnTheWater Report post Posted August 29, 2005 It's a trap. TNA is expressing interest in Sid so that WWE feels a need to sign him and put him in the ring. Then he injures a person or two with a botched powerbomb. (Actually, it would be sort of cool to see Sid be given a one-day payday to job to the Masterlock Challenge). Guest Biggles Report post Posted August 31, 2005 The Wrestling Observer newsletter reports that Ultimo Dragon has been sending feelers to TNA about getting a contract with the company. Dragon was offered matches with Christopher Daniels at the past two PPV events by TNA, but due to scheduling conflicts he couldn’t work the dates. Another issue is that at the time he had work in Japan, and didn’t want to get on WWE’s bad side for when he comes back to the U.S. However, now that he has fulfilled all of his bookings in Japan. and WWE has not contacted him, he is interested in working for TNA under a contract. TNA has shown interest in Ultimo Dragon, but it is unclear whether they would want to sign him to a contract or not
Guest Biggles Report post Posted August 31, 2005 Brian Kelley of AudioWrestling.com sent in the following: AudioWrestling.com Interview: Insane Clown Posse tells all on this week's edition of Get In The Ring ICP put over TNA and said that they didn't burn their bridge with them. ICP hopes they can return to TNA at some point when the timing is perfect. ICP wants to come in and make an impact, but does not expect or want to be put over by TNA's top guys. ICP mentions they will be a perfect "mystery tag team" for a tag match or battle royal in TNA. ICP says they booked tons of TNA stars for their "Gathering of Juggalos" event and the TNA guys gave A+ efforts for the show. Visit AudioWrestling.com to listen to the interview. Credit:www.tnawrestlingnews.com Anyone interested in ICP? IMO they're horrible rappers and wrestlers. Bringing in those weired Juggalo fans of theirs would make Orlando look a little colorful/fucked up but TNA could use some ticket revenue right now. Thoughts? Hunter's Torn Quad 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2005 ICP need to OD on PCP. They are a complete and total waste of time.
Carnival 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2005 As a "juggalo" and a wrestling fan, I will say, the TNA "invasion" of juggalos was an embarassing ordeal for me. Those kids are lame. I like ICP on my wrestling, but i don't like the fan base they bring in.

Dobbs 3K 0 Report post Posted September 1, 2005 ICP sucks...apparently they run their own wrestling shows pretty well, but I'm not interested in seeing them in TNA or anywhere else. Ultimo Dragon would be cool...I was a mark for him when he made his run in WCW...it's too bad WWE wasted him so much. I think it would be a good time now for TNA to bring him in though, since it would add some more legitimacy to their X Division by having a recognizable name who's not primarily known from ROH or other US indys. Guest MikeSC Report post Posted September 2, 2005 I'll be honest --- I don't see Dragon meshing well with most of the X Division guys. I just don't. I like Dragon, even though he'd mail in matches, but he and the X Division guys just doesn't seem like a great idea. Dragon should remain in Japan. I don't think any promotion in the States really knows how to use him properly. Not even ROH.

In his prime, I think he could have put on some good one only because he would look like the ultimate counter to most of their offense. Now? Not so much. And screw the rest of you, SID is the master and the ruler of the world. I want him to show up on WWE and just powerbomb the life out of someone. Not TNA though, even if he came in with an "enlightened" mindset I don't think he works well other than a few months kind of guy.

A Jeff Jarrett mark and a Juggalo? Is enjoying shitty TV your gimmick?
