His series vs Christian was awful. You don't say WHY you like it anyways, but their best match was at Survivor Series 04 and it was a mess. The crowd not being into either guy hurt it, and they did nothing but follow normal "You do a bunch of moves, I'll do a bunch of moves, then we'll do the pin-two count-move-pin-two count-move-pin....". Nothing meant anything in ANY of their matches, which makes it hard to get into the match, and the fact that WWE gave us no reason to care about either of them made it even worse.

The crowd was very into Shelton during those matches, that was when he was starting to get over. They were more of a way to showcase Shelton's offence and Christian did a good job of bumping for him and putting him over. It also had well timed interference from Tomko.

The Benoit match I haven't seen, but four minutes? Doesn't seem like enough time was given to it to be calling it "The Bomb".

Watch it. It's very short but both guys just bust ass and go all out and it's really good. Really wish they had given them a feature match. That'd be a MOTYC for sure.

The three way I haven't seen, but did it follow typical "one guy gets thrown of the ring while the other two fight" forumla? If so, I'll pass...

If you haven't seen it, don't comment.

The first Triple H match was memorable because of the shocking upset, but what did Shelton do in his performance for you to claim he's a great worker? He bumped good, but Hunter carried that match with HIS offense for the most part. You could have replace Shelton with any midcard face.

It featured some really good mat wrestling from Shelton and his usual great offence. I love Shelton's moveset, it's one of the things that draws me into the guy.

The other matches they had that were given time (Beat the Clock and the one where Shelton won by countout) were also fun little matches.

And what about Shelton's recent series with Carlito including his series of badly botched spots?

Shelton's been off his game lately, I will admit that.

And his matches with Jericho?

I really enjoyed the match with him at Backlash. The two worked well together, and again, I love Shelton's moveset. Probably my MOTN.

His match vs Flair which HE fucked up Flair's building of working on Shelton's leg?

I didn't say anything about that match b/c it wasn't great. OMG HE DIDN'T SELL THE LEG, I mean really, it's one match, who gives a shit.

I can't think of a single match where Shelton really sold much of anything.

I don't remember many matches where he had to sell a specific body part.

The only match where I remember he had to sell a specific body part for the story of the match was Backlash 2004 vs Flair, which is why I bring it up so much. I can provide ONE example of him not selling, you can't provide ANY examples of the opposite.

Backlash vs Jericho was better than Taboo Tuesday, but it was still just a bunch of spots and nothing memorable at all.

I honestly don't like the guys moveset that much, which may be a reason I'm not demanding a Shelton push right now. The guy has more negative traits than positive at this point in his career anyways, and I'd take Randy Orton: Main Eventer of Shelton any day of the week. I do want to see the match vs Benoit though. Anyone know the date?
