Gary Floyd Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 This match hasn't been too bad so far.
Open the Muggy Gate Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 I'm recording it too! Y2Jerk...we have history in our VCRs!
AndrewTS Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 I think Hogan/HBK should be a hair vs hair match.. Just because Id like to see Hogan finally have to shave off that remaining bit of hair...I can't stand it anymore.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It'd be infinitely more entertaining if it included all of the hair on his entire head, including the face. I haven't seen a pic of Hogan without the trademark stache that isn't about 30 years old.

strummer Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 LOL Hogan couldn't get his leg up for the big boot!!
Exslade ZX Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 God, the Angle Slam sucks so much now. Granted, he's doing it on guys seemingly a hundred lbs heavier then when he was doing the Olympic slam, but still. That was great Shawn, that was great.
Guest *KNK* Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 That was a masterpiece move there by Shawn
AndrewTS Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 You missed 95 WCW. Dungeon of Doom shaved off Hogan's stache. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Mercifully, yeah I did miss it.
Guest Trecko Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 I think my hatred for Jim Ross just soared to new heights.
ChrisMWaters Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 If Bret doesn't come back for an appearance soon to get on Shawn for that, there's no justice in the world.

SuperJerk Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 I think my hatred for Jim Ross just soared to new heights. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What did I just miss?
Open the Muggy Gate Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 Was I the only one hoping Bret's music would fire up during the set up for the superkick?
packwingfn Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 Bret won't show up so I gave up hoping awhile ago And its for the better.
fisticuffs Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 Bret's return, in some capacity, is imminent.
Guest Trecko Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 Was I the only one hoping Bret's music would fire up during the set up for the superkick? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> PRAYING, sir. And I'm guessing you missed Ross being just short of a heart attack because Michaels used the sharpshooter on Hogan. LET HIM GO! LET HIM GO! LET HIM GO! he shrieked as the show went off the air. Die Ross. Die.
iliketurtles Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 I bet Bret came out after they went off air.
GreatWhiteNope Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 I bet Bret came out after they went off air. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was thinking the same thing.
Vampiro69 Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 that would be a great way for the WWE to send the fans home happy.
SuperJerk Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 (edited) Bret's return, in some capacity, is imminent. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What'd be the point? He can't perform, and probably doesn't want to be involved in an angle. edit: It'd have to be a one time deal only. Edited August 16, 2005 by Y2Jerk
GreatWhiteNope Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 that would be a great way for the WWE to send the fans home happy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And a great extra for the DVD set.
Guest fanofcoils Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 Thoughts on Matt Hardy not appearing on Raw?
Vampiro69 Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 shows that they are giving up on him perhaps?
Aero Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 Not a horrible Raw, but not really good either. HBK's opening interview was the obvious highlight. I was expecting a Bret tease from the start, but admittedly, once the music hit, I started to believe. I was actually expecting the Bret midget, however.
Guest JMA Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 Thoughts on Matt Hardy not appearing on Raw? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Some people may think that WWE is trying to bury him, but I don't think that's the case. I think that WWE was worried that Edge might be cheered tonight since he's a Canadian (he wasn't) and didn't want to risk putting Matt into something like that. Then again, maybe I'm giving WWE too much credit. Hell, they could've just forgot.
Guest JMA Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 shows that they are giving up on him perhaps? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That'd be a huge mistake on WWE's part.
Guest Fook Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 Raw Thoughts: - No Shelton? No Hardy? - Even as a huge Bret mark, Michaels' opening promo was quite funny. It reminded me somewhat of the Rock's heel promo from Toronto a couple of years ago in that the entire crowd just completely hated the guy. - The lack of logic is killing me. How come the Hearthrobs don't have to tag in their handicap match against the Big Show, but Carlito and Jericho do against Cena? - Speaking of Carlito, I don't like the guy at all. But he is the IC champ and thus, shouldn't be continuously treated like a jobber. - I didn't expect a mention of Venis and Edge being former brother-in-laws, but still... - And what the hell was the crowd chanting during the Edge/Venis match? - Anyone notice that ALL the SD matches for SS are rematches?
Guest Rrrsh Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 Well I gave Conway the conman gimmick on my game and it's going alright. I've got him in a relationship with Gail Kim and a tag team with Vance Nevada. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Explain? How's that make sense kayfabe-wise? *related note--has Gail topless pics saved to HD* <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well Vance's character is based off a famous diary on EWB done by reversefigure4. He's the most obnoxious mother fucker you could meet. He wears BRIGHT clothes, talks like Quagmire and calls himself Mr. Beefy Goodness or the Vance Vance Revolution. Rob Conway and Gail... I just stuck em together to see if it would work... it did. And then I was giving Vance a push and put them in a tag match... and they worked well together. So boom... there ya go. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Vance Nevada is an Indy wrestler who works in Central and Western Canada. His nickname is Mr Beefy Goodness. But he is far from the most obnoxious guy ever, he is juts a good heel who relys on a lot of cheap heat
SuperJerk Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 - Anyone notice that ALL the SD matches for SS are rematches? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They're using the controversy with Hassan and UPN as an excuse to be lazy.
