claydude14 Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 Mark Jindrak and Matt Morgan -- both recently laid off from WWE's SD roster -- were seen outside the Atlanta SmackDown tapings, being filmed while they waited in line and bought tickets. When asked what they were doing there, they said fans would have to wait and see. Mark and Matt have both recently opened a Web site, MarkandMattLive.com which will host an online reality show, similar to TheMattHardyShow.com. iliketurtles Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 If they ran in the ring that would be the funniest thing ever.
claydude14 Posted September 7, 2005 Author Report Posted September 7, 2005 Oh I guess I didn't realize it doesn't say WWE cameras... so maybe it's just for their show. That's why I put it as Smackdown! spoilers... oops. Someone can edit the title since the real spoilers will probably need their own thread.
Guest Brian Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 They're trying to drum up support for a return? Good Luck on that.
claydude14 Posted September 7, 2005 Author Report Posted September 7, 2005 I've been a pretty big Jindrak fan since DLing his match with Doug Basham on Velocity; and Morgan I thought was always looked at as the next hoss main eventer that could work, but I can't say I've seen enough of either man to be sure. And if they were released but Tomko and Sylvian weren't, then I guess I don't know.
Mecha Mummy Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 Well, Matt Morgan's going to New Japan, so it's not like he's out of work or anything.
Placebo Effect Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 Those two are soooo fucking each other.
Star Ocean 3 Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 It'd be great if wrestlers who were fired just showed up at events as fans.
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 They're trying to drum up support for a return? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Those two need the whole damn band to drum up support. Jindrak was never getting it, and Morgan was ruined by some incredibly stupid booking.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 "It'd be great if wrestlers who were fired just showed up at events as fans." Wasn't that the basis of the nWo angle?

LivingLegendGaryColeman Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 these were probably the two released people that WWE regarded highest and I do not recall a connection between them before now... how much longer do you give it until people start saying their release was a work?
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 "these were probably the two released people that WWE regarded highest" Or maybe the 18-time World Tag Champs that just main evented a PPV in June...
Guest *KNK* Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 "these were probably the two released people that WWE regarded highest" Or maybe the 18-time World Tag Champs that just main evented a PPV in June... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> WWE really regarded Matt Morgan pretty highly because they gave him that golden gimmick that didn't even need to showcase his best attribute. In fact, he was so well regarded, they knew he didn't need it at all and allowed him to be the complete opposite of his lone talent. I would say Maven was more highly regarded then Morgan and Jindrak were.
Guest Iceman03 Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 I think they were just bored and wanted to watch some WWE Wrestling so they went. Maybe they signed a few autographs too so they broke even at the gates? Not a bad night, something to do ya know.

It's a simple case of trying to get attention because no one else is. TNA and ROH haven't sniffed them and Morgan is the only one of the two likely to get work outside the country.
dubq Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 Mattandmarklive.com? Sounds like a gay porn website.
Carnival Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 Those two are soooo fucking each other. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I 2nd that.
