RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted February 1, 2006 That was fucking awesome. LOGAN~! shows his stuff and why he deserves the ~! treatment. Paris goes fucking NUTS. The end scene(s) were hilarious. Fuck, I should have taped that.
The Amazing Rando 0 Report post Posted February 1, 2006 I did tape it, Rudo. I'll see what I can do about maybe DVDing or something
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2006 I LOVE SHRIMP. They changed a lot of the openning. The 5 1/2 season old Edward Herrman clippet has been replaced.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2006 Oh man, I shouldn't be enjoying Christopher and Logan bonding over getting kicked out of various private schools as much as I am. And Rory as editor = awesome.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2006 OH MAN, when Lorelai "snaps out of it" after she and Luke are discussing all the insurance stuff... that was great. "He's taken, Chris" "YOU KNEW?!" "Dad told you, didn't he?" (and everything leading up to it) I just didn't want that episode to end. This show is in a nice groove. It's gonna suck when Lorelai and Luke implode.
Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted April 6, 2006 Did anyone watch the last episode? It lost me there at the end. Well, Rory specifically. What was she up to at the end there when she pointed out the bag Anna gave to Luc? Why's she's so seemingly obsessed with getting Lorelai interested in April's mother? And what was wrong with her at the end of the show? Am I completely missing something here? Or are things just not revealed yet?
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2006 Nah, it's just to show how Lorelai is very much not ok with April or Anna and is taking the whole thing personally, and to contrast that, Rory is ok and isn't as personally effected by it. It's possible Lorelai sees Anna in the same way Luke saw Christopher - as someone who, because they had a kid together, is a threat to her current relationship. Rory avoiding Logan is the same thing - Rory says she's ok with what Logan did, now, but clearly she is not. Those Gilmores are the same, ya see? Richard and Emily in Stars Hollow~! Zach writes a pop song with Mrs. Kims help~!

I just thought Rory was really, really pushing it and there might've been a reason behind that. Curiosity perhaps? But it almost looks like she's trying to cause a problem on purpose. USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted April 6, 2006 I just thought Rory underestimated how unhappy Lorelai was with the whole situation.
Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted April 12, 2006 Famous original Star Trek episode reference. April's a fan too!
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted April 12, 2006 It sucks that they are going to drag this Luke/April/Lorelai thing out to the season finale and continue it on next year. I appreciate that they don't rush into things, but when can they be a big happy family?
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted April 12, 2006 Lorelai seemed cooler with it this time around than last week. Yeah she was still miffed about the bag, but otherwise, hell Emily was playing cards with someone she thought was April!
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted April 12, 2006 Nah, Lorelai still ain't cool with it. The convo with Emily about not interacting with April was a tell. Kirk taking orders at the beginning and the wedding dress were both hilarious.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2006 "I just shake it all off" Michel needs to dance. HE IS DANCING! This show needs more Michel dancing.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2006 THIS IS TREMENDOUS! Ms. Kim!! "Oh my god, she doesn't know!" This is hilarious. Grandma Kim channelling Emily Gilmore. BIZARRO!!
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2006 Ok, this episode is precious. One of the best of the season.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2006 I should note that my band, the Keiko Agenda, have a song called "Lanes Wedding Night" where I rock the falsetto and then kick in a totally random Aaron Nevell schtick.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2006 Oh man. Oh man. I really should have watched that drunken speech, but I didn't want it to ruin my enjoyment of said episode and I am a pussy. But I rationalize it as leaving something for the DVD.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2006 WAY TOO YUMMY!!!
The Amazing Rando 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2006 "You don-no whach you are m'ssin'!" Michel rules.
Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted April 19, 2006 Just a terrific ep for the most part. And yes, the dancing ruled all -- I was severely dissapointed that we didn't get to see Michael move to some disco at the wedding.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2006 It's great how they managed to have both of the times Michel has danced on the show be associated with weddings.
Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2006 This was probably the most enjoyable episode of the season as everyone brought something to the table but the star was Ms. Kim going Emily.
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2006 So Amy Sherman Pallidino wasn't able to come to terms with the WB and has left the show. So there basically is no show any more cause her finger prints were all over it.
FroGG_NeaL 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2006 My Ex used to force me to watch The Gilmore Girls. After a while I liked it. I haven't watched it in forever. Shit's seemed to change alot.
daileyxplanet 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2006 I watch re-runs for free on ABC Family. Also: GG HAS been picked up by The CW, right?
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2006 Ya, next season will be its last, as it is the last on both Graham and Bledels contract. The disagreement with the WB came from Amy wanting 2 seasons, I hear. Apparently they offered her 5 million for one season and she still turned it down. Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2006 Knowing network execs, they will probably fuck with GG and give them a shitty time-slot on thursday (again)
RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2006 This is the best opener ever. Ashlee Simpson being discussed without her name being dropped. Spaghetti with Meatballs crazyness. "What happened with my dinner". "Everyone knows ugly men make the best doctors" Dr. Handsome! Richards pink bowtie is tremendous. "The Rory Gilmore Research Facility" "That sounds like monkey testing, people will picket!"
