Hogan Made Wrestling 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2005 I'd love to see Spader and Shatner win again, and otherwise I don't care.
Zetterberg is God 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2005 All I'm hoping for is that CCH Pounder and Glenn Close win their awards. I also want Terry O'Quinn to pick up that Best Supporting Actor trophy and for 24 to win Best Drama.
spiny norman 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2005 If Angle Is God and Ravenbomb are rooting for 24 and Lost to win Best Drama, respectively, they have quite clearly not seen Deadwood. Which should be awarded Best Drama and Best Actor without any charade of a competition with it.
Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2005 House • Three Stories • FOX • Heel and Toe Films and Bad Hat Harry Productions in association with NBC Universal Television Studio David Shore, Writer I am pleased this ep is getting nominated and recognized for its greatness; if anyone has watched it, you'll know what I mean. The editing is kick ass, too. Hugh Laurie as Dr. Gregory House More than -anything- else, I'm hoping he wins. He totally -owns- the show, character, and everything else. House is a character full of snark and smarts, impatience and intellect; he doesn't beat around the emotional bush, he gets right to the point with the facts. Penchant for breaking the rules and a grey area of morality also help the greatness of the character. Hugh plays him so wonderfully.

Oh and There's more to TV then Lost. However, this should be ABC's night with Lost and DH picking up huge.

I've watched Deadwood and loved every second of it, felt it was right up there with Lost- but not as good as Lost.

spiny norman 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2005 Have you seen Lost, though? I've watched Deadwood and loved every second of it, felt it was right up there with Lost- but not as good as Lost. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I watched almost every episode of Lost - it was good, but it's constant "Something's going to happen, oh wait, no, it didn't" became tiring after about ten episodes. It came back well around the end after about episode twenty, but it's tease ending with the hatch only served to piss me off further. It is not as brilliant a show as Deadwood, which truly is the most fantastic thing on television today. Lost was great in concept but a bit of a letdown in execution (though its Pilot episode was very well done).
Ravenbomb 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2005 Actually, watching the season again, I'm glad they didn't show what was in the hatch. The whole episode was loaded as it was, they wouldn't have had near enough time to show what was in the hatch and give it a good payoff.
Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2005 When do they usually hand out the awards for best actor in a drama series? Basically, I only have interest in Hugh's nom/win, and don't feel like waiting three hours for it.
